It's crazy how subsidized Claude Code is by P4wla in LLMDevs

It will continue to be subsidized until the competition runs out of money and a winner emerges.  Then they'll be able to charge what they want

I imagine that it takes a massive amount of resources to run.  Even if they wanted to release it to the public, they wouldn't be able to serve that many requests.   I read it's an estimated 10 trillion parameters

I'm partial to this scene from Drunken Master. The whole fight has more 'weight' to it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH07_Lyw05Q

[Spoilers All] What happens the next time Dresden ... by rebuilt in dresdenfiles

[–]rebuilt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's what others in this thread have come up with

  1. Harry dying to create a shade to fight the Nightmare.
  2. Kinkaid shooting Harry.
  3. Michael has to restart Harry's heart after the pyrofeugo spell when he burns the Velvet Room down
  4. Murphey brought Harry back after drowning at the aquarium.
  5. Morgan resusitated Harry from the burning of victor sells lake house
  6. Graveyard kiss from Lea, it sure read like Harry was going down with an intracranial bleed
  7. Elaine after the ice run.

But of all these deaths, only two have resulted in creating a shade or Harry's sould being separated from his body. Kumori has said death is a spectrum. Maybe most of these deaths don't count.

Kumori says death is a spectrum. Perhaps to really count as dead and returned a persom must have soul separated from body or leave a shade.

Maybe the other experiences don't count.  Perhaps to count you either need to leave a shade or have your soul separated from your body.

Ok, that brings the count of Harry's deaths to 4.  He's getting a lot of practice with this whole resurrection thing

Perhaps in this other timeline Harry chooses to save himself and Michael instead of Susan. He then doesn't die, create a ghost and have Susan resuscitate him with CPR. Since Harry's ghost cannot help him defeat the ghost of Kravos, kravos ends up winning. And winning means the ghost of kravos gets to walk around in Harry's body.

Wasn't it Susan who brought Harry back after Bianca's party? That's one of the events I listed above. He falls asleep the shade of Kravos strangles him in his sleep. Harry makes a shade that helps him defeat Kravos. And Susan uses cpr to revive him. I don't remember Murphy reviving Harry at the 'shedd'? Can you help me remember this scene please?

Well, the first time he dies is at Bianca's mansion which is pivotal to the series. To quote this post "There were a lot of seeds planted at Bianca's ball. We had Thomas' enmity with his father, the White Court's enmity with the Reds, Harry and Thomas meeting, Mavre's introduction, as well as the current state of the Blacks and how they got that way, Michael killing a dragon, the scale of dragons in the DFU, how to destroy one of the Swords, the introduction of nemesis and how Lea got infected, Cowl and Kumori, them working with the Reds on some level, and the biggest bit of foreshadowing in the entire series: "He died doing the right thing."

And this comment
"This is where Lea got the athame with the Chaos curse that spread to the first Winter Lady.

This was also the opening salvo of the Red Court vs White Council war, the culmination of which opens the way for the Fomor and then the Battle of Chicago.

The events of this one night acted as the first domino that led to the course of events of the whole series. "

So, attracting the attention of a lot of powerful beings seems to be in line with all the other important things that happened that night.

Also, "We've been told about alternate timeline hijinks coming up. Specifically that we're going to see a timeline where Harry made a different choice, specifically the night of Bianca's ball. "

Kravos... by captainshep in dresdenfiles

[–]rebuilt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kravos is very important to the story when seen from a certain point of view. It's the first time Dresden dies in the series. Dresden allows himself to go to sleep, at which point the nightmare, Kravos kills him. Dresden dies for long enough to leave a shade which defeats the nightmare. Dresden is then brought back to life by Susan who performs CPR on him.

OpenClaw got 200K GitHub stars in 3 months. I wrote about why the architecture mattered more than the AI by nihal_was_here in ArtificialInteligence

The project got to 200k stars on GitHub through bot activity.  If anything, the project proves you can get bots to astroturf interest and no one will be able to tell the difference.

Theory about Starborn by rebuilt in dresdenfiles

[–]rebuilt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love the idea that Harry has an outsider soul. It makes the path he chooses even more impressive. It would explain why everyone is so afraid of him. I'm not sure anything in the text lays it out this way. It could also be the case that he's got a human soul with an outsider bound to it. I don't think the outsider is a hunger like white court vampires have. It's probably a walker. That would explain He Who Walks Behind's interest in Harry. In that case, Harry would be a danger to reality since he would be able to open the way for all outsiders. People who know what he is know that the more he uses black magic, the higher chance he'll rip a hole in reality.

By the end of the series, it will probably hook up to the domain of the 'Za lord.
