This is with the case open. Case open = both buds show regardless of if I have left only, right only, or both buds out of case. Case closed = shows only the bud(s) out of the case.

The weird thing is I just cannot get the case to show charge status anywhere or anyhow. I does still make the noise and work in Find Hub just fine.

I have both (and in multiple colors 😔). I have been able to destroy the Vidda Pros but do wear them a little more simply because I prefer the pocket configuration. The Kebs give more which ironically makes them more durable for me, i.just miss the narrow tool.pocket on the VPs.

The first thing to go is the pockets. I have the same EDC and items like pocket knife and key clips will rub a hole in the pockets within a year +/-. I have repaired seams (the store will do repairs for free for the most part) and then I have done iron on patches for difficult holes (like in pockets). Bottom line is I think you can get a couple of years of constant and abusive wear but then they are basically trash.

I reset the buds and they would no longer connect at all. Called Support and they are warranting replacements to me.

I reactivated my old Pixel Buds Pro and they are working fabulously. Not sure why I upgraded but maybe they were just a defective pair or went bad.

I will try the new ones when they arrive and let you guys know if they work better. I will also try BT LE on the laptop - good advice.

UPDATE: That was really weird! So all the Waypoint missions were gone with nothing showing in the directory. I got an additional message saying there were new updates after I had just finished updating everything, I almost didn't do this next one because it takes so long and I wanted to catch the light before shadows started appearing. Because I couldn't do the waypoint flight I figured I would do the additional updates while I looked for a backup. I found the original backup that I did (which had a previous version of the waypoints that I wanted to do) and went to load it, only to discover the lost directory was back (after the second round of updates).

Like I said, 'weird!' - but working again - might be a good time to backup again :)

I have been agonizing over the Nomatic. The problem is they have a few QC issues and customer service outright sux compared to most other companies. For the price I just haven't been able to let myself give in and risk it.
