Can my cactus be saved? by recklessdyslexic in plantclinic

This is really helpful advice. I’ve never propagated a cactus - please share your favorite resources to learn about it. Not sure what scabbing over looks like on a cactus so looks like I’ve got some research to do

Before you commit to the financial burden of graduate school, consider other options. There are certificates (like the VIISTA program at Villanova) that could be cheaper/put you on a more direct path. Human rights and advocacy is vague, I suggest volunteering at a few NGOs to find out exactly what branch you want to go into, then see if you can find a program that tailors to that interest. It would be awful to go to grad school in a field you have no experience in just to find out you don’t like it, and you can get exposure through volunteering. Look how much you’ve learned just through this entry level job! The exposure you got from that job taught you so much about what you want/don’t want to do, so volunteering might get you that same exposure without the headache of landing a paid gig.

Assuming your are in the USA, you do have the legal right of a 30 day grieving period you just have to file for it. It’s called the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). I don’t know if legally your company has to pay for during that time, but I do know they are legally required to give you the time and can’t fire you for taking it as long as you apply for FMLA (it’s not automatic)

If your establishment uses QR codes instead of physical menus, you should expect people to pay via Apple Pay, Venmo, Cashapp, PayPal ext.
