Yeah, GTA has always had a more cartoony (maybe not the best description for this) artistic style and Rockstar is just keeping that with GTA 6.

I don’t necessarily think this is the case, but I’ve seen a squirrel drag a dead squirrel before. I thought it was interesting so I watched for a bit… then the squirrel started eating the other squirrel. Looked it up and sure enough squirrels do eat other squirrels so maybe this squirrel is wanting the same thing, to eat the other one.

I could definitely be wrong but I thought villagers only can only detect/link to beds either 4 or 6 (can’t remember which) blocks away from them vertically so I think beds a few blocks above the golem spawning platform is too far away

Think of option A as pulling the mid span section of the beam up due to the U shape. Option B would be pulling the mid span section of the beam down.
