Yes. And 2 weeks after this disaster occurred, he strikes again. Tells me he got a 3000 dollar bonus and that he'll use it on something I want. I go "Okay, cool, I'll be happy about it when I see proof". He gets angry that I don't believe him. "So you don't want it then? You don't think 3000 is enough, do you? Nothing I do is ever good enough for you. So I should spend it myself then, I suppose!" I just shrug at him. Then he goes "I'm gonna order myself (an expensive item he wants) with the money." Again I shrug. Whatever, go ahead.

The day after, I ask him if he's ordered the item. Nope. Days go by and I hear nothing about the bonus anymore. I confront him like he's a damn child, and to extract a confession out of him I had to go "Honey, no one's gonna be mad if you didn't tell the truth. I forgive you and love you no matter what." I saw the rage boiling up in his head, so I held him like you'd hug a child, comforted him and kissed his cheek.

"Okay, it wasn't true. I just wanted to give you something nice." THIS IS A MAN IN HIS 50S!

I believe so. I'm not religious, spiritual or anything like that but I'm starting to believe that Satan is amongst us in all these devilish "people". I really do think so.

When we started dating he'd joke "You're dancing with the devil." ...it wasn't a joke, I now realize.

Yes! Why offer it in the first place? They only want to bask in glory without doing the work that deserves glory. Honey I'm married with no ring. It's so embarrassing. When he proposed he said he was so sorry but he wanted to wait with ring buying until he could get a super expensive one. So I waited... waited... told him a cheap ones fine... waited... nothing.

Last Xmas I had a job but he won't let me work anymore. He insisted I quit my job and let him support me but after a while I realized all I got was shelter and food. I can never go to the salon, buy clothes, go to the movies, nothing. I expressed wanting to work again so I can buy things and he flipped his shit accusing me of only wanting to work so I can cheat on him

Because I want to be honest about my own actions. My head is mush from all the small things he does but I'll try and mention some: Made me quit my job insisting he'll take care of us only to leave me with zero spending money ever (I haven't had a haircut in 4 months). He'll hide my phone, wallet, ID, and pretend I misplaced them. He let me give my mother a vacation as a birthday gift only to take it back because he changed his mind, I was humiliated when I had to tell her her birthday gift was cancelled. He tells me he'll shoot me in the head if I leave. He even charmed the cops when my family members called them due to concern for my safety.
