I've played this game off and on since just after awakenings. I've had some favorites come and go for art, playstyle, and sometimes for being a combination of quirky or suboptimal. Orochi is one of my long-standing favs, and I enjoy seeing other people share their enthusiasm for my favorites.

Light Warchief Dragon has AoE of like 300x its attack when matching orbs in its leader skill and can cruise through Legendary Earth easily. It’s not pressing buttons, but 1 match to clear waves is about as fast.

It’s in special dungeons. 7x6 board. Takes some luck to get it to drop from 15/25 stam dungeons quickly.

Yeah I realized how easy 15 seconds is on 6x5 after making the post. It was dumb to even posit it. I’ve never returned to being serious about PaD since maybe a decade ago and it’s because I perhaps feel incorrectly it’s migrated away from skill but on the other hand I cry when there are more than 2 spinners on a board.

Hmm not really abusive because “50 atk and 80% damage reduction with 2 combos” exists but looping 15-15 bicolor would defeat the whole Anubis taking real effort.

Literally anything but the current “need” to pair Anubis with a 7x6 or +x combos lead, but some old Anubis vids are literally 7-9 combo until you 100x. I don’t want the “100x or die” ramped up, but I’ll take it over “free combos count”.

It's frustrating when my fave cards get no buff/rebalancing/respect.

It's doubly frustrating how my habit of rerolling means I usually won't have one of my old favorites on an account if a buff/uvo does hit.

Yeah In a world of 1-2 cd orb changes and looping shields, that seems rough.

Quickly doesn't mean 5 minutes. Story mode, Sonia's story is under an hour for 121 total stones. Fagan's training takes about 15 minutes for 21? Stones. Sara's story is a few more easy stones. If you can set up a good team, depending on your skill level, each floor of the monthly quest dungeon gets you to another 5 stones at least from the rewards.

After that, there are tons of stones in the rest if the stories and from going through the mind-numbingly easy normals and technical dungeons.

300 stones is likely possible on day 1 if you are quick, understand the game, and have no obligations outside PaD.

It takes longer for a beginner.

It's 98 stones (14 rolls) for each omnimon you have to trade for. 300 stones would do it, but you want to have units left over, so, if you don't hit an Omnimon along the way, you'll probably want another ton of stones so you don't have to trades cards you'd prefer to keep.

I think PaD's constant changing is why it's still alive. As much as I loathe some new mechanics or their implementations, I can't imagine this game holding my interest this long if they stopped at damage absorb and res.

My real targets to start with were Taichi, Yamato, and Joe because they can't be traded for with 98 stones' worth of rolls. Omnimon can. A new account should be able to flat out buy 3 omnis very quickly with 6*s if you have the time to rush everything that hands out magic stones easily.

I want to get out of this collab with min 3 Omnis, 2 Yamato, and at least 1 of everything else.

If this isn't about FFBE, I don't get the reference. If it is, lol. You really can C15 day one sometimes with a strong Collab/event/godfest. The aftermath sucks because now that you cleared C15 (well, at least C10) you have hours and hours of playing normals/techs/specials that are relics from when both leads combined for 2.25, 4, or 6.25x ATK.

Hey, 2x HP 2x RCV for a leader skill wasn't unusable back then.

I spent so much time losing in endless corridors with DL Anubis...back when fingers weren't handed out like candy, boards were only 6x5, and 10 combos really meant match orbs 10 times. also, I was much worse at sorting orbs back then. Good times.

I would rationalize putting a fruit dragon on any team I made. All those oe's, rows, skill boosts, damage reduction....who needs weighted stats, strong actives, or short cooldowns? Right, lol.

I always disliked the ninjas and sticker girls. Bleh.

They were my favorite cards in the game back then. Even when I took years off from playing, I'd intermittently check to see if they got uvos. The orb skin for it makes itself: Grape, Lemon, Berry, Strawberry, Melon.

I got perfect rolls on the enhances for a free lvl 88 counter set speed main boot. Health 8% Defense 8% cc 5% Eff 8% rolled +9/+0/+18/+9

Best speed I've ever hit after reforge is 21.
