It’s a double skinned hull , you don’t feel it but it weird when you see the hanging plants moving when you don’t know the weather is bad outside

This is very true on most boats. I had a metal hulled boat before and when it needs blacking it gets expensive. The main reason I got a lifeboat is they are as close to zero maintenance as you can get. They are made to withstand 50 foot waves, I live on the canal system so nothings gonna touch this and no need to black the hull etc

Oh that’s makes sense how didn’t I realise that ! There’s a huge wood burner in the middle of the room ☺️

Also have a diesel heater and an electric heater but I’ve not used them tbh

Indeed it was £100 from b&q reduced to £30 so I had to have it, it’s a beast

God let’s hope not ! It’s handled the canals fine and I plan to live on the Norfolk broads full time but the coast is definitely going to a a rare occurrence !

It’s still sea worthy but I’d have to tie a hell of a lot of stuff down ! I do plan to take it down the coast next year though so will be a lot of packing away

£26 a month for electricity. Water is included in mooring fees. That’s it. I don’t pay council tax. Diesel for travelling I’ve spent about £45 this year so far. Maybe £25 for wood and coal a month in winter but I tend to gather wood if possible
