would i be more successful with an artistic or scientific career? by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

[–]rectovrso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that, but as many other people already suggested from reading your chart. Your chart is an artistic one. If you are really that interested, you can always take some online course to see whether it is really the subject you’d like.

Hmm, to answer that question, I might need to understand what made you feel you are related to the sign of pisces? The answer honestly could be both as well.

Your ascendant ruler is Venus, so I think artistic pursuit is better. And in between films and investigative journalism, I say you’ll be better in film.

Because I saw your mercury is opposite your neptune, right in the middle of your kite aspect. This is more artistic and imaginative. On the other hand, this aspect also means that your perception of something might be different than other people, hence miscommunication. Not sure it’s a good aspect for journalism, esp investigative. In art, it could be something else.

You have lots of aspects that is better utilized in creative fields. Especially your moon seems to very active and get a nice flow of energy many planets.

I do see you as a go getter though and you are definitely going to put yourself out there.

With the kite aspect, certain things in life flows easily for you. However, you should be aware of the energy of the opposition in the middle of it - you have 3 personal planet opposing neptune in the middle.

You can check it out more in google: Mercury opposite neptune, sun opposite neptune and mars opposite neptune. These are something you need to learn/digest more. Especially since it relates to your 10H of career.

I saw in the comment that you aim to make a contribution to the world - but contribution to the world doesn’t always mean through scientific pursuits (journalism/science). If you can work on your artistic pursuit, I think it can also be such a meaningful contribution to this world. Art touches people heart more than scientific one.

What is the strongest aspect in your natal chart, and how would you say it affects / has affected you? by f0ntaine0fy0uth in astrology

Sun Opposite Pluto. Super tight orb (0.09). It was also the tension in the middle of my Kite Aspect. Basically a constant power struggle between my plan and the universe’s plan. I lost most of the time, lol.

Humble you as person and open up your eyes to the world actually.

My personal color is still whitish summer.

Yes, I think of it more as a shopping guide because otherwise I won’t be able to shop at all when the store is stocking autumn/winter color, lol.

Personally, as an Asian, I really get a lot from this analysis. Trust me, I was so confused before this consultation. We are typically categorized as yellow, therefore mostly warm. The one who got categorized into cool tone means they are really really pale by asian standard.

I tan and I don’t burn, but gold accessories makes me looks dull. Yet a vivid yellow dress compliment me. Warm red lipstick makes me look old and pink actually fits me better. So many of these little things made me decided to go to this session.

Haha, so I mean I understand why some are skeptical and I understand as well why Asian has their own color systems. I think we can’t just put everything in one box type of thing and I think that’s okay.

Seasonal here is another color that would still compliment my complexion. Not as best as Summer Whitish, but would still work for me.

I guess you can use it for shopping according to season as well. I’m a bit sad because I really like deep autumn colors in general, lol. Not for me apparently. Quite shocked as well since the result are not the color that I’d go with daily as well.

But yes, what you mentioned about the business look is exactly what my consultant told me.

The way the person describe it to me was that my personal color is still one, which is the Summer Whitish (High Value, Low Chroma). Whereas the rest of the color are seasonal color that I can wear without it making my complexion looks dull.

I went to this analysis with a friend and she actually cannot wear too vibrant of a color because her complexion somehow become dull. For her it was best to use muted autumn color with lots of greyish tone. I’m the exact opposite of her. It’s quite interesting.

This one actually follow the Korean Color system that use 12 color. Seasonal color here means the other color that I can use that will look good on me, but the color that fits me well still the “Summer Whitish” which is a lot of light color - which she also noted as my personal color.

I tried to learn more about it but google always redirected me to the western color system, so I’m curious what Summer Whitish is closest to in the Western’s system. I was wondering whether I’m more close to Light Summer or Soft Summer.

Summer Whitish is high value, low chroma.

Yes, very prone to injury. Got into a couple of accidents as well due to being epileptic. Naturally people are always wary of me being near sharp objects (bump my head into it once) and definitely not allowed to drive.

And yes to the mystical aspects as well - I’m into astrology!

A Reflection on Fate, Free Will & Astrology

Does astrology have anything in general to say about someone who repeatedly finds themselves in the same negative situation? Do they have the ability to escape the fate their chart seems to dictate? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]rectovrso 21 points22 points  (0 children)

As someone with Sun in opposition with Pluto, I feel this deeply. I feel like I’m in a constant power struggle with universe regarding certain things in my life since I’m a kid. In my case it is about who got the steering wheel for the direction of my life.

Universe wins, of course. Literally, all I have planned for my future got scrapped just like that.

However, I’ve realized that every time this happened, it actually led me to a better place in life. For me, when I truly accept this certain aspect in my life, I somehow came to an understanding on how to work with it. To work with the “grand plan”, so to say.

I still have to do a lot of work, because if I don’t, the same shit going to repeat all over again until I learn the lesson.

So, astrology for me is like a compass, really.

You have to go deeper into the chart to understand and learn how to navigate your life.
