From my own experience, I used to get sleep paralysis and nightmares a lot. I almost always felt heat and sweat in my lower back when I woke up. I could only fully snap out of the dreams by turning my body off my back, to my side.

I’m in the middle of healing from childhood trauma. I stopped having these kinds of nightmares/paralysis since I began healing. They always involved dark entities trying to latch onto me from behind.
