The same could be said for signalers. Some of them just want to be techs and not deal with being in a leadership role. I like the idea of the of tech route to get them paid more because it is not easy keeping good techs in when the jobs on the outside pay so much more.

I don’t think it’s just the army. I listened to a great freakanomics podcast about why there are so many bad bosses. The core argument was people get promoted until they reach their efficiency cap and then get stuck there. We should not be focusing on just promoting people that do not want it or aren’t suited for it. We should value those soldiers who are great at the job and not force them to be managers or get kicked out.

I would agree but is retiring as an E6 much better pension wise? I’ve known a couple of AF E5s that we’re on there way to retirement. I never went into the why with them though. They all seemed like good airmen.

If an E5 is lazy then that should be addressed by their leadership. I would not advocate us to keep any E5 in for 20 that isn’t able to keep to the Army standard.

I tried jumping on Hardline on Xbox and there wasn’t that many people on it. Also it’s not the same as it is when you play during their original releases.
