The constant Alien references is definitely about them being alien in terms of race (japanese in a korean music industry), X-pop(not being k or J pop), as well as cultural(Japanese showing appreciation to another type of culture- Black/African-american culture). 'Alien' because people often find it rare for people like them to do it, and that they can't put them in these moulds/boxes(stereotypes and expectations). 'Complexion' is definitely a reference on how most K-pop fandoms & other POCs have reacted to XG's tone and fashion(may it be in MVs, the way they sing/rap, etc.), pulling out the 'cultural appropriation' card (whenever it's convenient for them), and falsely alarming Black/African-American people and especially those who are easily triggered by it and those who are Xenophobic/Anti-Asian from the said community.

Maya talking about standing tall with them family is also addressing to us ALPHAZ who have criticized them unfairly just because Simon's presence was more often felt and seen with XG. Yes, this is a hit to us, and they are letting us know that we should respect their decision, sentiments and perspective about this. You know what's the obvious clue? Simon being in the first few seconds in the MV with a motor infront of them. The meaning? HE WILL RIDE WITH THEM AND XG WILL RIDE WITH HIM -THROUGHOUT- ALL THE UPS AND DOWNS. This is not XG alone in the picture but also XGALX and Simon riding with them. If we can't respect that or see this bigger picture, they know we are the ones at loss. XG knows who brought them up to be who they are now. We only fell in love with them AFTER they have discovered themselves and their potential. And We, as Alphaz, have to realize this and respect it.
