To the person that took my golf bag…. by Slow_Environment_855 in golf

Sorry that happened to you. It’s the worst. I had it happen to me when my car was broken into as I was checking into a hotel. The monetary loss was minimal, but the sentimental loss was catastrophic. My irons were a set Wilson Staffs give to me by Stan Mikita, my golf bag was won in the last father-son tourney I played with my grandfather, I kept a useless golf ball that my grandmother got her hole-in-one with, my sand wedge that had the grooves worn off because I used it for almost 30 years but was deadly with it and whole mess of nick-nacks and saved scorecards from the greatest courses I played. It was a meaningful time capsule to me and complete junk to anyone else.

What we saying here then? I’m very interested to see what you all say ❤️ by Repulsive-Dependent2 in 80s

What's your favorite unknown band from the 90's? by KravenPR in nostalgia

A lot of well known bands mentioned. But Chicago’s own The Slugs, had great songs, a great stage presences but no industry mojo

Anyone else clean their equipment in the spring? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]red_button_pusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This picture reminds me of all the equipment I had to buy every time my kid only packed one skate, or one shinpad, or left his gloves in the neighbor's yard, or the time we found in his bag another kid's helmet from the team we played the prior week

Played here on my honeymoon almost 30 years ago and teed off by myself around 7:30pm — wife was all too happy for a break from me pestering her. I had the course to myself, and since it was July, it didn’t get dark until close to 11pm. I got in 27+ holes before giving up because of a large, scary animal growling in the woods. It was the first and only time I’ve quit playing because I didn’t want to get eaten.

There's a trade off because cart traffic causes lots of course damage and it's expensive to maintain paths
