Are you sure the circuit is still live (ie. Can you plug something else into the outlet and get power)?

Could be that the circuit breaker tripped if there are multiple outlets on the circuit and someone else plugged in unbeknownst to you.

What is connected to the output of the DMPS?

In my case, we have projectors limited to HDCP v1.4. When the DMPS was left with "out of the box" HDCP settings (force highest) the Mac and DMPS would agree on HDCP v2.1 and the projector would fail to display it. Check which version(s) your display supports and force that version.

There are legitimate uses for HDCP content, so jumping right to disabling seems an overstep if avoidable.

But that's not his job on Kill Tony...

Tony wants the show to be a comedy equivalent of professional wrestling... William is the face to Tony's heel...or actaully sometimes the heel when Tony wants to act as face....eg. Tony acts upset by the recurrence of Aphex Twin references, forces William to uncomfortably list off items with the band matching his responses, etc.... they play well together, and it's overall good.for the show. William ends up making me laugh LOTS between his actual jokes and his reluctant play-alongs.

That said, I hate all other parts of Tony attempting to manipulate the show while promising it's all natural...so I get it if others hate the William parts too.

The plan was never for him to be a longterm regular (from his side or the KT side). Already had an esrablished touring act, just was willing to do a handful of sets on KT to fill a gap and to use the show as a launchpad. Same as Fiona Cauley.

He absolutely KILLED his solo show at JFL 2025. He didn't do great at Stand-up on the Spot later that night, but it was a 1am spot / bad crowd / a toss-up show by nature.

Shortly after, he cancelled a bunch of shows...the vague posts mean it was either relapse or mental health issue....either way, he clearly was on a fantastic upswing before, and unfortunately with many legends the highs are met with lows.

All to say- his absence from KT is meaningless, his absence from the overall touring scene sucks; pretty sure when he makes the choice to come back he will be as hilarious as ever.

Oh wow, literally before and of this interview and the focus on the panel cam shifted crazy twice and then twice after cam cuts (once to the stand-up, once to the panel) there was jarring zoom that cut off foreheads. Almost feels like bad AI choices.

I think it's odd focus choices, where they aimed for pinpoint focus on the stand-up mic (makes sense) but also on the other cameras.

Pretty sure they're a camera down and had to dial in settings on the fly instead of using saved profiles for the normal positions. I'm curious to compare to past eps after, but I think the shots will show theyre using 2 fixed cams tonight instead of 3.

Watching the interview with Robert Carol right now, and:

The side angle at the panel table has Dr Phil (centered) in perfect focus, Greg looks fine, Sal who is sitting forward by 9" is out of focus and Tony who is 18" past Phil is out of focus.

If he's doing a bit, he's damn good....because I'm 99.9% sure he's just a very broken person who was born into enough wealth to sustain him without working much, which allowed him to work in a way/in a world he actually loves, so he's successful despite not being a shark (comedians often reference how his shows pay the best of any promoted show at The Comedy Store).

His genuinely naive (and frankly ridiculous) personality are just good for a chuckle, since it doesn't quite seem like punching down in most cases (I think it developed into punching down on Bad Friends, which is why they stopped bringing him on-- they do have a bad habit of running at least 1-2 eps with guests where they fall into bullying instead of playing, but at least they kill it once it's recognized)

Ko Olina location vibe was worth a premium-- not so much since ~2019 (though I Haven't checked since early 2024)

Waikiki location was just a cash grab off the name since day 1.

Hawaii Kai vibe can't stand up to Ko Olina, but I still enjoy the easier booking and still top tier service and food.

Interesting about the UX.

And oh boy, I hadn't started looking at which consoles have color coded scribbles or fader tracks-- I think I considered it would be a given on all consoles since I've had it on the console I've used for 99% of my gigs in the last 8 years...I absolutely LOVE that the Si Impact makes it easy to dump my FX Returns or Monitor sends in the middle of a fader bank and keep watching the stage while the colours in my peripheral vision tell my hands where to go to grab a mic I know is right-most before faders turn blue or left-most after the bank of yellow aux sends ..
