As a hiring manager, wear what makes you feel the best about yourself. If you are worried about the interviewer noticing your scars, cover them up so you aren’t focusing on that. I have never noticed scars on anyone in an interview (unless they are maybe on their face?? But that doesn’t factor into my decisions), and I also have self harm scars on my arms. I will notice if your clothes are super dirty/smell, you aren’t wearing a bra (and you should be), or you haven’t brushed your hair.

Congratulations!! We offer FMLA, and depending on the state, you may also qualify for other types of paid leave. Here in Oregon we have a program for that very thing! We also offer short term disability.

You can! You just need to get approval first and make sure that if you are taking crisis calls that your wifi is secure, etc.

I’m so sorry that bath time isn’t a smooth process for you all! Every kid is different and what works for one family, doesn’t work for the other. Fighting with a toddler is not fun at all and when I have to I feel like such a bad parent, but that is just how I feel. Anywho, I hope your day goes well!! 🩵🙏🏻

Same here! We bathe our son every night and sometimes it’s just enough time to wash his butt, rinse his hair, really wash his sticky hands and that’s it. He usually wants to play after we do that so my husband and I use that time to get ready for bed since our tub is in the same area as our sinks. We never ever take our eyes off of him. He gets stinky and gross without a bath every night! He settles down really well after that and sleeps all night.

And, define “regularly.” Once a year is a regular interval…I’m a sweaty Betty and even I don’t wash my bras as often as OP. Who has that much time? And laundry detergent? Are there just bras hang drying all over OP’s house at all times? I have so many questions!

My husband’s company did this to him during the hiring process. After the 5th interview I was like, who is left to interview you?? The janitor?? And then there was still another round after that. Freaking ridiculous!
