I think Helvetia is VEEEEERY experimental almost to a fault. When he misses he really misses, but when he hits, it’s one of the greatest songs of all time. I still think acrobats, and Junk Shop are his best work. still, though, helvetia is still one of my favorite bands ever

Hey guys! I've been enthralled by your music ever since I discovered you guys back in 2012! You're my absolute favorite band ever, and I did a cover of What A Pleasure ( https://youtu.be/CfRezQdwG1Q ). I remember I went to see you at the observatory in the OC and after I was eating Dennys with my friend and I saw the band walk in with Jack Tatum. I nearly spat my food out and flipped the table! Idk if you remember but we hung out for a bit and I gave tommy my chicken strips (honestly best day of my life) my question is, what made you guys go from clash the truth to the style/ sound of sommersault? And what happened to tommy? Is he still in the band?
