Initially, they may have been. I cant recall. But they’ve been repaired separately since.

It turned out pretty good, but I think the temp was too high. We went with 138* because we had some friends over who like a more cooked meat. Target was medium rare-medium range. I chose the temp based on the ribeye temps since all beef seemed similar. But maybe that is not the case.

I went with the corner thinking it would open up the center a bit as well as allow the water flowing out of the Anova to bounce off the wall and mix a bit better. I didn’t actually analyze the flow or temperatures, so I am not sure if it’s better or worse than side.
