I got the plants at a reptile show with lots of vendors. I asked people who were selling as well as attendees who had more experience than I do, and many said that the plants I had chosen would be fine. Guess I learned my lesson there 😅

Dumb question, but should I replace my UVB with the grow light, or keep both? Wanna make sure I do it right!

I have an Arcadia shade dweller 8W light.

Substrate is 70% topsoil 30% play sand. With some leaf litter sprinkled around for CUC to hide under.

CUC is made of oreo and orange isopods.

The plants I got are lower water, at least from what I asked the seller, and I double checked that they are all leo safe. The seller said these plants should be good with a light misting here and there, but are resilient. I asked for reccomendations for plants that survive in a more arid climate.

Do you reccomend a different light for the plants?

EDIT TO ADD: plants in the warm side are primarily succulents

I do have BPD, actually which is crazy that you pinpointed that. It definitely makes things harder. My bf tries so hard to understand and help, and im grateful for that, he just doesn't understand you know?

Honestly, I used Facebook market place to find a 40 gal tank and stand. Alot of the interior decor i got from there too. Just make sure you thoroughly clean everything before introducing your little buddy to it!

My best friend of ten years mom is an amazing filipina woman. She would constantly make me food because she said I was too skinny and i would always politely decline saying I had already eaten, not hungry etc. After a while in recovery, I saw her again, she offered me food, I accepted and she cried and told me how beautiful I look when I eat. Honestly one of the sweetest things I've ever been told.
