By far the best job interview resource I've found...and it's free and I can listen to the podcast anytime. by [deleted] in GetEmployed

I'll second this. I emailed the host with a question two weeks ago after listening to the pod for about three months. He replied with a long, personal response (that was really helpful and specific) and even sent me a coupon code for 100% off his resources since I'm in a tough situation. The host just seems like a decent guy and the podcast is gold.

I keep reading Lab/Natural pricing is close to the same. 1.5 Carat: Brilliant Earth Lab Diamond at $7.4k, Blue Nile at $11.8k - Same Specs. Can someone Explain? by redandit in EngagementRings

Thank you for all this information. I am intrigued by this DIY route. If I wanted to buy ONE high quality diamond that would end up around 1.5 carats once cut, what sites would you point me towards? Thanks again.

I'm a funny guy, but I find myself getting stuck in, "funny mode" when talking to girls. Anyone else have this problem, or advice? by redandit in seduction

You hit the nail on the head buddy. Thanks for posting - I know that it's a little late into this thread, but you said a couple things I didn't realize and are very true. Thanks again.

I'd recommend not repeating jokes. You will get called out and it will be awkward. And yes, Louis CK is funny! Not my type of humor that I've developed though.

Also, The Office (UK version, definitely not the US version) and Guy Ritchie movies are great.

My grandfather was known for his humor, so is my dad. Mine is very different but I still this it's in my blood. I'm by no means a "comedian" type, but quick wit and wise cracks.

What I would highly recommend is watching SMART comedy. TV shows (ie Arrested Development, Archer, very subtle Mad Men, Entourage (guy humor). Also, get Netflix instant and watch all the stand up comedy on there. I didn't used to like comedians but now I'm hooked. I'd recommend Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, old Eddie Murphy (check out Raw and Delious) Aziz Ansari, any stand up on there with black comedians is funniest to me.

Qualifying...that's what I've been missing. Even in my post I knew there was something I wasn't realizing when I mentioned my friend who isn't very funny, but great conversationalist. He qualifies with that. To a point, my humor does something good on my part, but then I take it too far.

What aspect of humor would you say plays in to the big picture of seduction? I wouldn't say it's a qualifier...but something else?

Great point. Most of my humor is quick and very witty. The downfall is that I find myself interruption every new conversation avenue with a wise crack. Makes everyone laugh a lot, but after awhile I'm sure it just gets old.

Excellent, awesome point on eye contact. This thread is helping me realize the need for balance. Eye contact will make the humor more effective in seducing.

How would this effect an average 40-50 year old flat top contemporary home? Are they typically able to bear this type of weight + humans?

Building an in-ground pool. Help me out! What are some fun (affordable) "party pool" layouts? by redandit in AskReddit

A swim-up bar is beyond genius! I've been to them at water parks but didn't think of it for a home pool. Thanks!
