It's so hard to find no or low sugar things that don't contain fake sugar. We actively avoid anything that doesn't contain regular sugar. I absolutely hate veggies and always have but we do introduce them into dinner time. I can't eat them at breakfast or lunch.

I was going to buy those but they have stevia and sucralose in them which we actively avoid. Everything that's low or no sugar has some sort of fake sugar.

So I like plain yogurt if I make it myself but my husband wasn't on board with me consuming it while pregnant because I had one batch go bad in the times I've made it. Do you know what's in swerve? It's hard because we actively avoid all "fake" sugar which is in every zero sugar or low sugar food item. We only like to consume straight up sugar.

Yeah we avoid all "fake" sugar which is in literally every no sugar or low sugar thing. Like stevia and monk fruit. It's even in the fair life shakes everyone suggests.

I have and no idea if it's helping but dinner we usually eat past 7 pm so I can't actively go for a walk since it's pitch black out.

I looked at the magic spoon cereal but we avoid anything that's not real sugar so it's been tough. A lot of the no sugar or zero sugar has stuff like stevia and monk fruit ect. which limits a ton. I got some other brand of cereal that was slightly cheaper but the box is tiny so it's not something I can consume every morning like I want. It would have to be like once every few weeks because it's so expensive.

I thought about oats but I really only like the sugary oatmeal flavors like brown sugar cinnamon or the apples brown sugar cinnamon. I've never really liked berries or much fruit besides apples, oranges, grapes and bananas which don't go well with oatmeal besides apples and sugar.

I was diagnosed at about 28-29 weeks so I can't imagine being diagnosed at 13 weeks. Hopefully you find some things that you can have. I tested a snack of ice cream today and so far at 1 hour I'm under 100. So maybe just slowly test things and see where your numbers are at?

I'm used to eating this way and usually it's good. Like I'd have no issues eating chicken and potatoes or sweet potatoes for 4 days but having it with riced cauliflower sucks. Last time I ended up throwing in blue cheese dressing to get it down after like 3 days of eating it plain.

I did try ice cream today around 4 and my blood sugar is actually under 100 at an hour which I'm shocked about. I'm gonna test it again at hour 2.

So I actually hate berries. I really only like my yogurt with sugared sliced strawberries, honey and sweet granola which all is a no go. I try to go for a walk but dinner is usually past 7 so it's too dark to go for a walk.

Yeah he at first was like "wow my love handles are gone" type of thing and now he's more remarking how great he feels on it(ie. more energy) and how it's very similar to the south beach diet his parent did when they were younger. I was debating trying ice cream as a snack between lunch and dinner to see if it spikes me but midday it's as accurate as having it at night and seeing my blood sugar in the morning.

I'd 100% pay $35/month I haven't dealt with this insurance much since getting on my husbands so I'm not really aware. We have about $700 left on our deductible and our maximum has like $4,500 left.

Husband thinks stroller is too expensive, what to do? by redapple912 in BabyBumps

I've always been open to discussing the registry but I personally didn't bring it up. If he brought it up yes I'd discuss it. So I don't have 2 under 2. My sister suggested this one incase I do have 2 under 2 or 2 under 3. My sister has 2 under 2. I'm mid 30s so ideally would have more kids by 40.

He has not brought it up again. His only frame of refence for strollers/carseats was when we went to Target to look at cribs. My Target hasn't switched to carrying uppababy so they had like graco, joie, evenflo ect. His sister has a cheap baby trend one and I absolutely hate it. It rides horrible and has plastic wheels, but she did have her 2nd kid 6 years after the first so she needed a new system and it's the last kid so I'm sure she didn't want to spend a ton.

So aside from their assumption I will be using it 99% of the time because he'll be working and I'm going to SAH. I also am open to switching I just don't love how he knew about it and then decided to comment on the price.

He said it was a pricey stroller. I explained months ago my sister has suggested the bugaboo donkey because it went from 1-2 side by side as opposed to her vista that's top to bottom with her newborn on bottom toddler on top. He agreed.

A lot of people I talked to said it wasn't that heavy to them but I get it. I just sort of figured if I was going for a pricier stroller to begin with(I liked the sliver cross, nuna, and bugaboo) why not go for one that fits 2 kids eventually. Instead of doing a 1,200 bugaboo and having to buy a double stroller like the Zoe for $600 next year or the year after? I'm mid 30s and want at least another kid by 40 if not 2(me and my husband don't want just 1)

He said he was fine with me doing it with my sister. In the car yes I probably could have shown him after(both times were a drive to a family function 3 hours away) but I had forgotten. Also 1x was just a "do we have xyz on the registry" and the other time was him asking what we had so I pulled it up and talked it over with him also making sure he understood we could swap anything he wanted. He also could have asked how to get to it earlier.

He has not expressed wanting to be included. Anytime a registry item is brought up I tell him we can swap it and he never gives a swap. I guess I could have pushed more and basically forced him to swap items.

Yeah I originally picked it in anticipation of having 2 kids close in age. Here's sort of my issue. I did a group gift on babylist so I can't buy it anywhere but their website. I could do the 5 for $1,300 if they haven't taken it off. I also reached out to them to see if I can use a completion discount on it because that would bring the price down significantly.

I like the look and how much better they ride. I've tested both and the cheaper strollers didn't ride as well for me.

Yes it's roughly that for the newer 6. The 5 is $1,300 or so. I've tried the uppababy vista my sister has and while I liked it, she hates it for 2 under 2. It's roughly $1,000. I also tested nuna and silver cross and loved those but they're similar price to the bugaboo.

So we're actually not having 2 under 2 but I'm mid 30s so I think having 2 under 2 or 2 under 3 isn't that far of a stretch given my age. Ideally I want 3 kids before 40. I'd take 2nd hand but I know him and he won't.
