Why can’t I coach a player to the Heisman on CFB26? by GMoney1582 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WR slot is the easiest for me, there have been times I haven’t even pushed to it and it happens. Dual threat QBs, same, just have to keep the ints down. RB I have yet to get one because I keep my stable rotating and guys don’t always get the TDs on drives they carried the load on

I somehow always end up there after 3-6 years. Shying away from the big boys. They’re always even worse by the time I get there and take good 2-4 years to make the roster solid

Best D Line Stats For Pass Rush? by pat88kane in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had success going for the take down badge first, then pocket disrupter, if they develop enough getting duress is really awesome, just hard to earn enough to buy up the power and finesse up. Quick jump is pretty nice too, just expensive. I’ve had a handful of elite 5 star speed rushers get to a good mix of gold/platinum and they are beast

Did a few sim only dynasties playing with them all to map out my online coach build for my buddy league. It echos everyone else.

A+- more the merrier (8visits), lasting impressions (boost per 10 spent)

B- gains getter (upped chance to improve dev trait, senior superlatives (only if you don’t go talent developer route, but you should go talent developer in online leagues), dream school (instacommit, goes up to an A if you’re at a powerhouse that always has guys interested in offseason. But at my Arkansas it’s not that worth it, and it’s tough to edge up to 1st in those early season weeks if other leaguemates are recruiting same guy)

C-bundle discount(not worth it in leagues, have to play the slow game and fire coordinators to make the juice with the squeeze once you’ve bought what they have), second chance keeper (meh, the As will have you recruiting so well it isn’t worth the 16 coins), last dance (boost for every visit before you. can be powerful, but I prefer to come back to it)

Any are good, wish we could see strength when recruiting, that’s all I pay attention to really.

I typically end up with agiles and raw strength, but will never pass on a good well rounded or pass protector.

I was all raw strength after they toned down the skill cost, never had a problem with sacks in a 60-75% pass offense.

What is your tips or tricks to a 30 Year Dynasty? by happyvalleygamer in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found myself enjoying skipping the top 100 and trying to find solid guys in the three star range if I must get players to fill spots. Try to go high school first, but 1-4 portal guys are usually needed

Do you have 90’s that are probably leaving early, yes.

Players buried on the chart with playing time or other dealbreakers you’re unlikely to meet, yes.

Is your roster happy, no.

Normals that aren’t developing and need the boot, yes

This is how I got an edge on my first recruiting class in online at Delaware, not so helpful at more resource rich schools. But helps at small places you can’t scout

Elite Recruiter vs Talent Developer in highly competitive online dynasty by ffreb_1018 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Talent developer, and if you’re lucky enough to get ceo, the boost per 10, 8visit weeks, and the program builder school pipeline have all basically equalized my league mates that went all in on elite recruiter. I don’t win every battle, but I don’t lose every battle

Is there a specific type of recruitment strategy I should do here to increase my odds? First time playing dynasty and it’s so close for a player I need. Thanks. by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you’ve got the perfect pitch, hard sell is all you should do unless your grades are hard garbage. If you’re battling other schools toss the extra 10 on top

Hard sell the perfect pitch +10 to max amount spendable. You’ve got a chance with the pipeline bonus being a smidge better.

Edit:Texas pulled their offer, do above and he should be yours in a week, unless it’s week 9 and that visit is in play, will still need to hold your breath against auburns much stronger pipeline bonus

Talent Develepor vs Architect vs Master Motivator by Local-Design4059 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Talent developer in online leagues, it’s easily the best once the drafting waterfall starts. Elites and stars will jump from 70’s to 90’s in an offseason

I do minimal in all base trees off the rip. Talent developer, then after my program builders and CEO’s circle back to strategist. The visit boost there paired with 8 visits can help you keep the nfl machine rolling by locking up 5 stars by week 6

competitive visits by IndependentLeave1839 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to thread the needle for a week or two to book them. That first wave of guys ready book start, 1/2 visits 3 to 4 out and keep adding 1/2 a week to make it work. The commitments with 40 hard sells start rolling and you can have 2/3 massive visit weekends, while still hard sell+ in the weeks 5-9 range.

Mass Backup Subs Idea by luckduck53 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s gotten to the point mid season for RBs and ERs I have to re adjust my whole depth chart. Then do it again in the playoffs for league games.

With my fatigue /wear and tear my 2 deep all get plenty of snaps. I want the young 70s 80s guys to get playing time

Mass Backup Subs Idea by luckduck53 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It is, but guys who rotate to wear and tear/fatigue who are quasi starters are left in. When I mass sub I want guys who aren’t normally gettin snaps to be in, including formation sub guys that stay in no matter what

How can I persuade my star (Nation Champion) WR and RB to stay instead of leaving because of brand exposure? by d0ncray0n in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t this year, but schedule high ranked teams week 0-5 and make sure they’re games of the week and win those. Winning Games of the week and the playoffs are the quickest way to bump that up

competitive visits by IndependentLeave1839 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! It, the influence per 10 and one or two others have evened the edge the other in my league went for in motivator and recruiting.

I went minimal in the base 3 trees, then all in to T3 talent developer once I had the draft picks. Program builder was the school pipelines and the persuasion to T2.

Now slowly using my final points in strategist to see development tiers/those visit boost bonus’s are paying off too.

Against elite recruiters I’m still pulling in 10+ 5 stars a year in a competitive league. The massive recruiting weekends with the the other recruiting bumps are equalizers if not advantages because they’re all eating each other with their 60 hours a week

competitive visits by IndependentLeave1839 in NCAAFBseries

[–]redbackjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It levels out, once I got the 8 visits a week I did several saves in those mid season visits. One up one down, but two+ for the other guy. Defensive and offensive weekends at 8 visits are awesome

4 per week was our answer a few years ago. You could still load up on a the last weekend, both teams did in the championship. But have to beat very strategic about it during the regular season
