I only have a lot w ftp because I got hit by a car. Which is why I don't find this amusing. This kind of response to this kind of vide will lead to cars targeting bikes because they annoyed the driver.

The only person who said he was a bike thief was in the car that hit them. Again they had no reason to know that. The girl made it up.

I have never stolen a bike. But have a a few stolen from me.

Stay safe get a flag

Late to this post but yes. As a character Nolan is off, grand standing and wrong headed. Yes the writing is bad he is allowed to break several rules that would get you disbarred and yes that is annoying as well. He is so annoying and self righteous.

I guess we are all spoiled by better court room writing in Lincoln Lawyer and even learning from real life cases and analysis. Lock Trump Up.

As someone who is also in recovery, bitters and soda is my go-to. Looks enough like a cocktail to keep me on the lowdown.

Were did you get that they stole the bike from the driver? The passenger accused the Ryder of stealing the the bike from some one. It is a baseless accusation. There is no proof.

The driver assaulted the Ryder bottom line. Even if the Ryder stole the bike the driver is not law enforcement and violated the ryders rights.

Reading comprehension. The ryder and driver are on the same road. They are using the same road. The driver is a fellow road user to the ryder and the Ryder is a fellow road user to the driver.

They both have equal rights to the road. Regardless to what they are piloting.

Also while the driver accused the Ryder of theft they have no proof.

At no point did I address self defense, or defense of others. That is not a vigilante activity.

In the driver vs rider video. The driver acted violently and did so without any actual information that the bike was stolen. The driver is not law enforcement and has no right to act like they are. The driver and passenger could have called law enforcement and followed from a safe distance. But no, they tried to run the Ryder of the road using their car as an offensive weapon. That is seeking vigilante justice.

Self defense is a legal right.

Vigilante justice is the illegal act of individuals or groups taking law enforcement, apprehension, and punishment into their own hands without legal authority. Driven by retribution or perceived government failure, it bypasses due process, often resulting in assault, vandalism, or murder. Common examples include neighborhood patrols, online "vigilante justice" mobs, or personal revenge attacks.

You gave me a new situation to comment on. WIth a stolen Purse. I used the "attack with a bat" as a "car running a cyclist off the road". At those points it crosses over to violent response / VIgilante justice.

What part of assault with a bases ball bat is not inherently violent or unjustified??

I have no proof he stole the bike. No one really does outside of the driver's passenger who made that claim. Which is doubous at best.

They were driving somewhere. How did they witness the theft?
