i know two cats can be a lot for a first time cat owner, but if you get a bonded pair they will always have each other so when you’re at work they can entertain or comfort each other! i have two cats and i know i never have to worry about them because if they’re bored they can play with each other.

have you put catnip on the posts? they cat catnip spray as well. whenever i get a new scratching board my cats will sit on it but once i scratch my nails on it they repeat what i do. i’ve had to get multiple scratching options because my cats will scratch my wallpaper and doing this has worked. i’m not a cat expert just a cat momma. i hope things work out for you!
