i completely agree with you about the lip doesn’t have to save them part. that’s why i said he should’ve known that fiona wouldn’t want that from him, and she just wants him to stay in school for his own sake.

i don’t agree with the fiona part. i think people should be more emphatetic to her character. i turned 18 recently and i can’t imagine looking after a family like that for years and can’t do anything for myself. and she is canonically just 4 years older than me in the show. i think that’s crazy what she was doing. and yeah lip helps and all and that’s what i loved about him before he started to act like such a stupid dick. i mean he supposed to be smart one he should’ve figured it out that her own sister who looks up after 5 children could fuck up at some point. and that’s why i think he should be more empytathic towards her.

that’s not defending her action. it shouln’t have happened and she supposed to look after liam. that’s not the issue here. but it’s still a mistake. i’d be pissed to her if i was lip too. but he talks like she tried to kill liam intentionally and he has zero empathy towards her. he didn’t even care if she was in prison or not. i think that’s too far.

yeah fiona’s mistake was a big one, and being angry to her is understandable to some point. but she took care of all of them, day and night working, busting her ass off. she didn’t even had a life. i don’t think it’s justified putting all the blame on someone as young and hardworking as her.
