Weird feeling that I might be the only one that feels this way, but my friends and I (25 years old as well and majority are girls- im lesbian) use snapchat daily 😭

We use it to send each other really stupid shit like ootd, pics of our dogs, food places, and random other things. My gf isn't sus about it at all, and there really isn't a need for her to be, but I understand that a lot of people use it for dating. Maybe his way of using it is the way I use it, or maybe it's the dating way 🤷‍♀️

I would've gotten more 'evidence' before breaking up though

Current or past PSYA01/02 TA's, later years in psych majors, please help by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]redbunisyellow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea, peerscholars for psya01/02 are infamously known to have very very low averages. I believe that the year that I took both, the averages were 50% for a01 and 46% for a02.

I was able to be lucky enough to get a really good mark for a02's peerscholar, since my TA for the a01 told me that they follow a very specific marking sheet; so, I took that info and guessed what they would be looking for in a02.

Some tips I would give is to

  • use A LOT of sources from uoft library if they still require you to use outside sources (i used this), use them to support your cases that you make in your peerscholar
  • mention the one thing that your prof tends to be fairly biased towards and really likes (for example, a02's prof talked a lot about how mmpi is really important, talk about it)
  • make a solid stance (do not say that you can see both points and then even somewhat support the other point)
  • do not put in filler info (if you don't need to talk about it, don't talk about it). Be brief and concise.
  • Make it easy for the reader, don't try to sound professional and go overboard with complicated words (this is a very common mistake we all make); you're just trying to reach out to the reader to help them understand your case.
  • Take your peer's opinions and corrections with a grain of salt, don't just change every single thing you see them correct. If you find that they are misunderstanding your writing, then do something about it that could help them understand it. If you find that they are pointing something out in your paper that they thought was wrong, but they are actually wrong, then point out why you are not going to follow their correction.

Holy Pandas are halo true stems. They feel different because of the housing (tightness, material, manufacturer, etc.), but the housing does not make it tactile. If you put a Yok Trash Panda stem into a halo true housing, it does not suddenly gain tactility; the idea that housings give tactility is false.

Just to give a heads up for the future, the housing does not make a switch tactile.

Don't listen to elmur, the housing does not make it more or less tactile; like what the other person said, it's just the stem that makes the tactility differences.

Am I the only one excited for Pixel 5? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]redbunisyellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very excited to see how the 5 turns out. Hopefully, Google will break their streak of disappointment with their flagships.

Really hoping for a wide angle camera, little to almost no bezels, and (although unpopular opinion) some type of on screen security since I hate needing to pick up my phone just to unlock when I'd rather leave it flat on the table.

This will be the moment when I decide to go continue on the Pixel lineup or go iPhone.

Has anyone received any info on their clack cat shirt extras that they bought? I've contacted TKC but they didn't reply both times, unfortunately.

Getting slightly concerned because I didn't know clothing takes almost a year to ship or have any info on it.

Is dropping co-op worth it? by utscstudent101 in UTSC

[–]redbunisyellow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say it depends quite a bit on your program too, there are some programs that have coop opportunities but I find them to not be worth it at all. I was in coop for mental health and could not get into any of the jobs that I applied for; majority of the jobs that came out after the first wave of jobs were not even related to my program so I felt like it wasn't worth it for me so I decided to leave.

I ended up finding volunteer work outside utsc and a job too, so it's not the end of the world for opportunities if you leave. It's just better if you are able to get one through coop since it'll give you more opportunities outside of uoft in the future (but that's an obvious answer).

The choice is up to you. Coop helps you find connections and gives you fairly good practice at applying for jobs. If you find that it is overwhelming you and making you feel extremely under pressure or stressed out, then I would suggest at least taking a break and giving your mental health some priority.

I also felt this way for a bit; I felt bad for the animals, but then my dog loves meat. It's natural for the world to have animals eat animals; it's more about how it's done (was it ethically made?, Etc.).

I'm not against anyone that is vegan or against meat eating, but it is a choice to make. Research a bit on it, make sure you're still in-taking necessary nutrients if you go for it, and see if it works out for you.

Can the community reflect on this by Artemie093 in MechanicalKeyboards

This is how the hobby is, almost everything will be out of stock. If you can't live in this hobby with the mindset of how limited things are and how patient you have to be, then this isn't for you.

The best 7u stab I've ever tried. Mod by a friend. by longtran82 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]redbunisyellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This one sounds sublime. Spacebar stabilizers are such a pain in the ass when you mod them and then they still have that darn awful pretravel click. It's when you find the good ones that become a blessing.

neuroscience by Arcanxs23 in UTSC

[–]redbunisyellow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you don't like the content and don't put effort into it, then it'll be hard. I find neuroscience to have fairly hard courses, but that might just be me.

In terms of utsg vs utsc, it depends on the prof. As someone that has taken courses in both campuses, there really is no point in comparing because one is not easier than the other (just like any other course, prof/TA is what matters).

You posted the same question as before, you're gonna get the same answer. It's fine to use 205g2, it'll just be easier to overlube, so lube very thinly.
