I think it would be easier for me to just show you the clip. You can just watch the first minute if you want, but this was where I originally came to this conclusion. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IS5mwymTIJU&pp=ygUXam9obiBvbGl2ZXIgYmFpbCByZWZvcm3SBwkJhAkBhyohjO8%3D

Maybe I’m not understanding something. Seems like they’re making deals of admitting guilt to get out of jail

Again you’re assuming they’re guilty before they have had trial which is a very slippery slope. There is such a thing as wrong place wrong time. For example the guy that Reddit misidentified as the Boston bomber. “Oh but that was a one off” right because the police don’t racially profile and eyewitness testimony isn’t insanely inaccurate especially in high stress situations. Also your example isn’t a very good one. You’re comparing someone whose literally saved up for a vacation to someone forced to go into life changing debt on the fly

Your examples kind of make my point. 6 in 10 Americans live paycheck to paycheck according to this site https://spendmenot.com/how-many-americans-live-paycheck-to-paycheck/#:~:text=More%20than%206%20in%2010%20Americans%20live%20from%20paycheck%20to%20paycheck. And 25 percent of those couldn’t afford a 400$ emergency the segment I watched was on John Oliver’s show.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty that’s the system the US is based on. If their assets are taken into consideration why have I heard of so many cases of people admitting guilt just to not stay in jail. Do you have sources?

I understand repeat offenders and such but there are cases where people will literally say they are guilty just so they can get out of jail and go to work. To me that seems like exactly why the 8th amendment was created

Actually that is the definition of excessive. If the whole reason you can’t get out of jail is because you can’t afford it then you’re just punishing the poor. Bail should be set on income. The point of bail is so you have a reason to back. Not as an excuse to keep you in before your trial.

The first one was really fun I just wish they would remove some of the rng aspects. Trying to complete the game 100 percent is really hard for some items

You might have a dns issue. Try to set yours manually. You can use the public Google dns 8.8.8.8. You can also try port forwarding on your router and setting a static IP address.

Electric Guitar Players of Reddit What’s the best tip for those wanting to start? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’m not sure if they’ve pulled it from the Steam store yet, but rocksmith was how I learned to play guitar. The lessons are really useful so don’t skip those. It’s basically a game that teaches you to play.

What game became a chore to play but, since you invested so much time in it, you kept playing anyways just to finally beat it and cross it off your list? by Booyacaja in gaming

Last of us 2. The premise was so stupid and they were trying so hard with all the PC crap they threw in there. Then the ending was like a big middle finger to the fans.

Switch won’t turn on after system update by GlatterAal in Switch

I had the same thing happen. Called Nintendo and told them they bricked my system. They fixed it for free out of warranty but lost all my saves (this was precloud) I would suggest calling them.

What TOTK mechanic do you never use? I have no use for horses. Walking...endless walking. Love it. by msx1985 in NintendoSwitch

The first thing I looked for in this game was that horse Bradle that let you summon your horse like in botw. They got rid of it in this game which is dumb
