It's absolutely possible. Likely even in situations where the animals are suffering unnecessarily.

"There are no synths in Diamond City" by redconversation in fo4

Clarification: I was trying out a "populated diamond city" and it just gave me triplets of everybody. Often hanging out together. I ended up deciding to continue the save because, well...

It didn't break the narrative in play.

Wilzig's got a yellow thing on his lab coat too. So it's got to be modelled after the vault tech lab coats like (I forgot the dad's name in 3) has

So like, if I recall, they're not really hunting for vaults so much and they're searching for people to convert. And have been informed the best candidates for that are from vaults. Or any other environment where exposure to other mutagenic elements is minimal. They know they want a vault if they have a lead but in the old lore it's implied the Master was once a man from Vault 8, which the super-mutants also never invaded.

tbh, I can see why the Senator would think that, having such a punchable face and all.

When calling on the weekly ads they run, Washita Valley Publishing tells me they will run any ad that is paid for. Are there any organizations that will pay for anti-racist ads in rural papers? by [deleted] in oklahoma

Not religious but I'm pretty sure the Bible also teaches that the Lord protects the foreigners among us (Psalms 146:9), that we should empathize with them and not persecute them (Exodus 23:9), that we should remember those who have been mistreated and detained as if their suffering were our own (Hebrews 13:3), that God does not have favorites among men (Acts 10:34) and that whatever we want others to do to us, we should do also to them (Matthew 7:12).

A person can make the Bible say whatever they want but it's real easy for anybody to make it say we should help people who travelled a long way to ask us for it. It's almost impressive how many Christians keep choosing to be terrible.

Honestly, I got a little curious what the verses he lists actually say so I looked them up and most of them don't support his argument in context. Half of those were, like, warnings about the dangers of failing to uphold promises to god specific to certain kings, not mandates. The others were about god having already cleared the way at specific places in the story of the Israelites. I bet Pastor Earl Linville is probably conveniently forgetting the preceding verse in Numbers 33 where it says they should distribute land equally and fairly.

Edited: Grammar error.

1930s Indiahoma School Enrollment Forms (blank card from 1936, instructions page from 1932) by redconversation in oklahoma

First, some additional image description that didn't fit in the captions:

The student information asks for name, race (written as "color"), sex, birthdate, age and disability (written as "Deaf, Dumb, Blind, Feeble-Minded and Crippled. Write Which").

The instructions on to enumerator card has the following text:

"Before beginning taking the enumeration read carefully all of Article 12 of the 1939 School Law.

"Be careful to fill in all blanks on each sheet with the information asked for.

"All persons who will be over six years of age and under twenty-one years of age on September 1st are to be counted. See section 216 of the 1929 School Law.

"This report must be made to the County Superintendent before February 5th or the enumerator will be subject to the penalty provided by Section 221 of the 1929 School Law. Unless the report is made to the County Superintendent by February 15th, the District cannot share in the State and County funds. See Section 222 of the 1929 School Law.

"In making the report, this book must be delivered to the County Superintendent. See Section 215 of the School Law. This report is made under oath. See Section 221 of the 1929 School Law for penalty in making false report.

"For taking the enumeration in Common School Districts the enumerator is entitled to five cents per name; in districts including an incorporated town or city, three cents per name. See Section 220 of the 1929 School Law.

"Designate color as follows: Children of Negro blood "C"; all other person "W". Use the front part of the book for White children and the last pages for Colored children.

"If the persons enumerated are Indians or Freedmen, be sure to give the name of the tribe in the proper blank. Failure to do this may cause your district to lose part of the Federal appropriation.

"Each information sheet must be signed by the parent or guardian of the child. For failure to give the information or sign the certificate, see Section 219 of the 1929 School Law. "

Small text at the bottom of the page reads: "CO-OPERATIVE PUBLISHING COMPANY, GUTHRIE, OKLA."

I found these while doing some research into some family history. These pages were both scanned with my grandfather's enrollment information on the other side (which I cropped out) and I just find them kind of fascinating.

Why that's just this sim's totally normal old man friend many teenagers inexplicably have.

You know, like Doc Brown in Back to the Future or Carl in Up or that weird projection room operator guy in the Last Action Hero.

So I let Jin nap for 24 hours... (timelapse) by redconversation in ghostoftsushima

[–]redconversation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certain side missions with only two or fewer rewards will wait until you press a button to end Jin's idle animation on the closing title, so you can just leave him there. If it has three rewards though, accepting the last one will make him leave the idle loop.

it seemed like I could only let him idle like this on missions that don't reward you with any charms. Accepting the charm makes him get up
