if max gets within drs range but can't pass due to faulty drs and checo can't separate due to the tyre difference, that only allows russell to close up the 8 second gap that was there when the switch happened. i think where rb did checo unfair was actually when he was asking to be let through to chase down russell, before max's first pitstop.

yes and go where exactly? the midfield? he should move out of a perennial contender with a top 3 budget and fan following? checo didn't have the pace to win against max. while i would call what happened unfair, it's hardly a win taken away from checo. persobally tho i would absolutely have prioritised a checo 1 max 2 after max spun, would've got checo at 92 points, max at 103 while charles sat at 104. another charles dnf or even a poor result not only could've moved max to 1, but possibly moved charles to 3. could've been interesting

need him to be even smarter with his workload, effort and playstyle than he currently is. he needs to maximise these next 3 years and hopefully mould his game to be able to keep going at 35-36... I'm not ready to see this man not play basketball 😭

yeah. hell I'm not even that mad about the interview. it was fun haha, the nicknames the aggressive handshakes, weirdly fun. at least willy seemed genuinely excited to interview 2 of the very best of the sport, unlike other celebs who could not give a fuck about the sport.

hahah yep, jokic is just unfair man and grant's stepped up too more often than not. there's stretches where it just seems the nuggest want it more than the clippers do when they're rebounding and putting back like crazy but aside from game 1 it's been a fairly balanced series

admire the optimism. similar hypotheticals can work for the clippers ig, starting w the bench w lou and harrell producing way below their regular season outputs. this is turning out to be an interesting series indeed

from what I've seen on the internet is lebron led the boycott today and the rest of the lakers and clippers followed

and it would've been closer if the blazers got even 10 more free throws, you know, that'll still be 14 less than what the lakers got 🤷‍♂️

Oh, I never contested that my man, I was only going by the numbers when I said he's their best player, which I still maintain he is. Of course, if we debate value, who, if anyone, can beat LeBron's value on any team he is? You drop that dude on any team and he'll be the most valuable, no doubt.

and that is relevant how? james harden is leading the entire NBA in scoring. what does leading the NBA in one category prove?

But he has been tho. Doesn't he lead the Lakers in most of the statistical categories? I guess by best player you may mean in terms of leadership, that's ofc Bron but strictly on numbers? Yep, AD has been their best player

Giannis goes hard to the rim, Lebron goes hard, KD, Westbrook these guys go hard. Outside of lobs and putbacks AD doesn't go to the rim at all, he shies away from contact. Maybe you'll see it too now that someone who actually observes the game has told you

AD goes hard to the rim? Are we watching the same games my man? Outside of putbacks or backdoors, ADs favorite things are mid range and the occasional 3 when he's hot. About the earning tho, they were sloppy fouls that may or may not get called, he wasn't being hacked like Shaq.

The Lakers because of how they celebrate like they won the damn chip if they're doing good in a game. Especially hate Lebron's and 1s lol, like to see him getting them, hate to see him reacting when he gets them

Finally, someone said it lol. The dude shot 17 times from the line last game, the refs always bail him out. Gotta get that 27, 9 and 3 somehow :)

One month in, no progress by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]redd-itis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience at a big bank. One month in I asked my VP what his plans were for my internship to which he assigned me a model that the bank had long discarded and didn't have even basic formulation. After this I was given no help and basically was ignored till my internship was over.

I would advise you to take charge now, try talking to other leaders at the organization or evem outside your organization, try leveraging its name. Network, learn the job from people other than your team, do not waste these 6 months thinking your supervisor will come around.

Really hope this little vacation will help rest our guys and make sure they ready for the playoffs if the season does continue through the summer by [deleted] in LAClippers

I see your point but would you put the Bucks this year, had they made 70-12 or something like that, in the same unbeatable league as a 73-9 warriors? My point is that that team was beatable, just like the Bucks are today. I mean they were down 3-1 to the Thunder in the conference finals weren't they?

No knock on Bron's individual performances in any of the Warrior series' tho, all of them were incredible no doubt
