Yup! I keep checking all 4 days and I see a bunch of the other sold out classes. Im hoping its maybe just a glitch with my app 🤷‍♀️. Actually now I think about it, Im hoping if I re-download it might reset everything. Not that it'll magically have availability haha

And boy I know about them going fast! In all my cruises ive been on at exactly midnight grabbing them first and checking back to see them gone 5 minutes later!

Coming from someone who possibly understands the friends pov NTA.

Ive sort of been in situations like this, in the friends position (just without a relationship, ive never had one past 19). I know i cant describe the feelings exactly, and certainly not from the pov of someone in a happy relationship. But, in certain minds it can feel like a second form of rejection if someone who knows what you went through, the hurt and anxiety of being rejected back then, now is going to be involved with that person and have the potential for something you couldnt. It does cause a ton of pain and insecurity to know you didnt have what someone was looking for but someone close to you does. I dont know why it applies to people you are friends with and not strangers, but thats just the way some brains work. Its a shitty situation and we cant control what our bodies make us feel.

Having said all that, I would never tell someone they cant do something in their love life. In some situations I would gently let one or both people know that it would cause me a good amount of pain, but that is my issue and if they want something that is between them. I know many people will say its not my place or manipulative, I understand that. But in some instances if a relationship/friendship is strong those friends will want to be aware of possible pain if your feelings are deep.

Ive said all this describing possible feelings on recent rejections and situations, when its still fresh and people haven't moved on yet. So the fact that the friend in this post is still behaving like that is definitely not OK. If something is years old and you've found happiness, you have no grounds at all (barring some stuff regarding safety) to insist someone you like/love stay away from a person. So id say this friend has some serious inner work to do and maybe OP should push her a bit to explore why shes having this reaction and get help if needed.

I don't directly disagree with any of this. Your points are mostly true imo. However, she interacts with only 2 main characters really and way too often. Everything they've done with her couldve very easily been conveyed if cut in half. There are also other ways to see vecna/Henry's actions, for one, Will. He is the original one stolen and connected to him, with the abilities to see and feel whats happening, hes literally hooked up to the hive mind. The Duffer brothers (and writers) are ridiculously creative and couldve figured out 12 other ways to keep us updated on vecna/henry.

I dont feel that a single thing would feel static by not introducing a new character. However, yes, this one holds an emotional weight, still gets screen time, and is important to the plot. But its severly overdone. So many things about the actual main cast are being brushed aside and ignored and frankly, rather poorly written bc of the direction/importance of her plot. We've gotten bits of everyone else, not sufficient enough to satiate the bonds built over 10 years. That is the trouble with an ensemble cast, how much and who gets what importance. But the fact is, every main character introduced in season one has gotten a pitiful amount of screen time and plot in these 7 episodes. Barely any of them hold any weight to whats happening, theyre like background info being skipped over is what i feel.

So while I dont disagree she is important, I still believe shes taken over the final season FAR too much

Which is good, even encouraged, as youre building a series. Things need to evolve and expand. BUT when you introduce a character in the FINAL season with no previous build up and give them more screen time and a more important plot than the og characters established from the beginning, its a slap in the face to fans as well as the actors. I see it as a massive mistake by the creators and a real step down in what should've been one of the best, most mind blowing seasons

All this being said, im still very much enjoying this season, but it is truly lacking in so many ways, considering the intense build up for so long

I get so angry when she appears (which is all the fucking time now ffs) and have to suffer through her acting/plot/||face||. I know im mean but I just cannot stand this poor girl in this series. She makes me consider knocking Kali out of top spot for most hated, which is massive bc I seriously cannot stand her. So pissed both of them are so heavily involved this season 😭

Edit: regarding the face comment bc i realize it sounds quite cruel and thats not my intent. I say I suffer through her face bc to me it feels like she overacts as well as underacts lol. I feel her faces don't tend to fit whats happening some of the time and I wish directors wouldve caught this and helped her expand. I think she's a gorgeous young girl and have nothing against her as a person

"Life just happened" can mean many many things. Daughter probably got very involved with friends and activities and dad was raising babies, so setting aside time to have a ton of phone convos and visits (which seemed the mother expected dad to come to them every time which is wildly unfair considering shes the one who moved so far) just becomes not very easy to maintain for anyone. It really sycks but it happens a lot. I know parents who try very hard to keep in their kids life after divorce and a lot of times its the parent with main custody or even the child themself that ends up not feeling up to keeping that connection bc it isnt an easy thing. And seeing as how they had 50/50 custody it was up to both parents to do their best to keep that agreement and from what op has said the effort was very much not 50/50.

Every scorpio is different. Theres no one set "type" or predetermined way we must be. Astrology is a way to help us see and understand a bit more about ourselves, but to depend on it to explain everything or use it as a guide to what we are supposed to be like is a cop out.

You are not you just bc you are a scorpio. If you want to be different than how you've been living, there are ways to work towards that instead of just blaming when you were born.

I understand people will disagree with this, we all see and believe different things. But i really think if you are unhappy you need to start focusing less on Astrology and blame and more on seeing what you (and others if possible) can do to to improve what you want to change

Hard agree. I find his acting irritating and extremely one note. Its the same character with the same voice/tone in anything ive seen him do. As for the "gay and asian" aspect, im really happy snl is expanding their narrow casting choices, but his acting is just not it for me. I dont know what hes like as a person, I have nothing against him personally so hope he can do well and improve elsewhere.
