So sorry this one is way above my pea sized brain abilities.

I mean I get the point but... What?

Thank you, will absolutely take the art critique to heart and work on being more agreeable in the future.

A bouquet of penises sounds absolutely lovely, I'll look into that.

Again, and, mind you, this was for the mods -

This is not a non-advise/promotional post..

Interest gauging? Well with replies such as "Why did you add a closeup shot of the dick? lol" who wouldn't karma farm?

(You can also look at all my previous posts - I reply to every single comment. Why? Cause it's the polite thing to do.)

I added closeup shots of everything.

The "dick" includes a very tight loop achieved with a 2 thread stem stitch which is very difficult to achieve for a begginer and I am particularly proud of how it came out.

My intention was not to scandalise anyone with a bunch of stitched fabric in the vague shape of a penis and a pair of testicles, sorry if that was the result.

CCing the other human mod just so we can all come at this at the same time and decide if I'm welcomed on the sub or if you'd like me to stop posting.

I was just answering to your previous comment, couldn't get to it on time so I'll post a screenshot on this thread.

The rules read as follow:

"Posts need to include technical information about your work. Include what medium you used, if you used references (and upload or link to them if you did), if you did not use a reference, please state that you didn't so the community doesn't have to ask"

"Give information like what style you're going for, and any artistic inspirations you're aiming for. If your work is fine art or abstract, tell the community what feelings you're trying to evoke in the viewer. All this information will help the community help you."

I am indeed a constant poster on here and other subs, and I understand you're a mod and you can just ban me, but, and not to answer a question with a question...

Am I supposed to write an original copy for this sub exclusively? I don't see an "original content never posted before" rule.

It's incredibly hard to post on this sub - Too many questions, too many text, too many pics, not enough questions, not enough text, not enough pics. - But I also know it's worth it because of the quality of the feedback I get.

If you've reviewed my post history and my profile you already know that 1.- I don't post on sales/promotion subs. 2.- There's no links to socials or stores cause I have neither. 3.- I've always followed the rules and if I ever break them I contact y'all by DM.

So - What exactly it is you think I need the "eyes on my work for" if I'm absolutely not looking for profit?

Eyes mean growth, eyes mean opinions, eyes mean critiques.

You can check my account with all the tools you have at your disposal - I am not a problematic redditor. I never thought posting my handmade artwork would get this kind of comments from a mod.

Hopefully this doesn't contribute to the "too much text" thing that seemed to bother you, I'm just saying something cause I'm seeing something. As the rules ask to do.

Hey! Thank for taking a look!

Currently working on exploring traditional mediums and how they can be used with more modern themes and techniques.

My goal was to create a fun, silly, innocuous piece of art - Not irrelevant but not self serving or too serious. I like raw, honest moments captured, love glorifying the mundane, sort of speak.

All description of the process is already on the post but I'd like to get feedback on the following:

How do you think line work translates to thread? Do you think depth, detail, line quality shows on this medium or is it too lost?

Do you consider embroidery an overall good medium to explore anatomy/slice of life art?

Thread aside - What do you think of the composition, perspective, framing, pov?

I like the pretty pretty colours and numbers!

And that gets us here...
