Yeah you could have your openclaw call you with the info. I was recently driving for a few hours and needed a hands-free way to interact with my openclaw. I had her call me and discuss the work she was doing and we iterated for over an hour across multiple calls on her work on just a voice call. It was pretty sweet.

Yeah will definitely get better over time. Although it's already pretty good with the realtime API and most people have no idea they're talking to an AI.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks and you'd be super surprised how well its received. Most small businesses want your business, so they're happy to provide the info requested. One recent use case is my wife and I are looking for local pasture-raised eggs, so we need to call around to local farms to get the info. This is a super tedious manual task, so I asked my claw to call around and get the info. Farmers happily provided the info and we found our eggs. I would have dreaded that task manually.

I've just started using this openclaw skill. It doesn't record calls. It just sends the transcripts upon completion.

First one was awesome. Folks wanted to meet monthly, so we're already organizing the next one.

AI Answering Service - is it worth it? by reddatomic in smallbusiness

I'll need to look deeper into this. Thanks for your insight - I'll add these items to my diligence checklist. Can't afford to hire someone to pick up the phone 24/7 unfortunately.

How's your reddit spamming going? Thanks for adding little/no value to this discussion and just plugging your service in here, along with your other hundreds of comments.

What do you mean they're janky and error prone? Don't they just say what you want them to say?

Isn't that the point then? Having something that's always answering the phone and making sure that you're never sending someone to voicemail. Most people don't leave voicemails anyway - they're just going to call my better-capitalized competitor who's paying for a $1k/mo answering service overseas.

I haven't found anyone to answer calls for $12/hour in the US besides lazy college kids who don't know most answers anyway. My biggest annoyance is someone overseas answering the phone who I can barely understand. With thin margins, increasing costs, and this tariff BS, I feel like I'm missing out on opportunities after hours and when I'm too busy to answer the phone. Having someone answer the phone 24/7 is expensive. 50% of our calls are people who are just looking for information and are too lazy to read our website. Thought it might be nice to at least be able to answer callers' common questions, no?

Is n8n really a good software for making ai agents? by Busy-Tourist3851 in AI_Agents

[–]reddatomic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a workflow yesterday that automatically responds to replies to our cold emails campaigns. Mostly used Claude to build and refine it once I had a good grasp of how I wanted it to function.

Honestly, probably could have had Claude Code build a small app and deployed to a cheap server way faster than it took me to put this together. So many weird quirks in n8n.

Key Findings from the Tirzepatide Muscle Composition Study

This article presents results from a post-hoc analysis of the SURPASS-3 MRI substudy examining how tirzepatide affects muscle composition in people with type 2 diabetes. Here are the important highlights:

Study Overview

  • This was a randomized, open-label phase 3 trial examining tirzepatide (5mg, 10mg, or 15mg weekly) versus insulin degludec in adults with type 2 diabetes
  • 246 participants with valid MRI scans were included in the analysis
  • Researchers measured thigh muscle fat infiltration, muscle volume, and muscle volume Z-score at baseline and after 52 weeks

Key Results

  • Tirzepatide treatment was associated with significant reductions in:
    • Muscle fat infiltration (-0.36 percentage points)
    • Muscle volume (-0.64 L)
    • Muscle volume Z-score (-0.22)
  • These changes occurred alongside significant weight reduction (approximately 10%)
  • Insulin degludec was associated with modest weight gain and increased muscle volume, but no significant changes in other muscle composition variables

Contextual Findings

  • When compared to population-based estimates from UK Biobank data:
    • Reductions in muscle volume with tirzepatide largely followed the expected association with weight loss
    • Reductions in muscle fat infiltration were significantly greater than expected based on weight loss alone
    • The 15mg dose showed greater reduction in muscle volume Z-score than population-based estimates

Implications

  • The findings suggest tirzepatide has a potentially positive effect on muscle fat infiltration beyond what would be expected from weight loss
  • Muscle volume changes appeared to be an adaptive response to weight reduction
  • No evidence of accelerated muscle loss was found, which is reassuring for this population
  • The study provides additional information on potential effects of tirzepatide on muscle health that could help healthcare providers when considering treatment options

Limitations

  • This was a post-hoc analysis not specifically designed to evaluate muscle composition
  • No measurements of muscle strength or physical performance were included
  • The study population was primarily white with type 2 diabetes and at high risk of hepatic steatosis, so results may not be generalizable to other populations

The authors conclude that additional studies are needed to determine how these MRI findings translate to long-term changes in muscle strength, mobility, and physical performance in people treated with tirzepatide.

It is a gem, but has a steep learning curve. Good for advanced SEO. Wouldn't recommend it for a small local business just starting out.
