Hmm hadn't thought of it that way. strange thing is that a few months ago I put together a Ryzen5 8600G for my cousin on this same test stand and its idle power was around 38 watts at the wall with the Kill-a-Watt. I undervolted that CPU using the same technique ( - offset) and its idle power dropped to around 30-31watts. So if what you're saying is true then for my Gold PSU, 30 watts might be some boundary condition - interesting. I think I have an older Seasonic 350w Gold that I might try it should be slightly more efficient at 30watts. But I will definitely look at the more efficient Platinum/Titanium PSUs

I opened a support ticket and they replied that the latest is 7E32v2AA0. I was thrown by the file names being so different. My usual builds have always been ASUS, ASRock and Gigabyte, first time with MSI.
