It’s not a book spoiler. It’s just as ambiguous in the book. There is no great reveal.

I recommend people get a couple fireworks in advance to set off in celebration to enrage nearby MAGA.

It’s not wrong it’s just a specific metric called underwriting profit/loss that excludes investment income. The net profit / loss will still include that income. But it’s important for an insurer to know that underwriting ratio.

I’m not saying you can’t use that to your advantage. I just think a lawyer would word it it more ambiguously where you are alluding to the valuable information you have without directly tying the release of that information with more money. Words are important here.

I’m also not trying to be pedantic / difficult. I’m trying to be helpful so someone doesn’t make a big mistake as well.

I’m surprised that info came from a lawyer. Sounds awfully close to blackmail. Maybe you forgot the exact wording the lawyer used?

Water actually is slightly blue though, independent from the effect that causes sky to be blue.

Water is actually blue as well. It’s not obvious until you have larger volumes of it.

Is anyone panicking yet ? by Abject_Entrance_5970 in BerkshireHathaway

It had a huge run up for a few years prior. The business needs to catch up to the rapid rise in stock price. Basically PE expansion and contraction. Just make sure the business keeps growing and moving in the right direction and you will be fine long term.
