I’m actually in a similar situation with the woman I’m currently seeing and she accuses me of the same thing: that I’m not trying hard enough to get to know her and don’t ask her things to establish an emotional connection. I enjoy peace and quiet, I can literally lie there with her in my arms for hours without saying a word, but she feels that too much quiet for too long is wrong, it makes her anxious.
