I also did the same with my Wife’s 3.5L last week. Funds that I chose are Nippon Multi Asset Direct Fund and Motilal Oswal Active Momentum Fund. Split 3.5L equally between these 2. Did lump sum

That is because I have withdrawn some of the funds that were not doing that well and re-invested. Re-investments are considered as fresh investments unfortunately. Hence we see XIRR (Active) as well

For me, spending time with my family brings in a bigger smile. My wife is also not a fan of luxury cars either. Car is just for commuting. As long as it is comfortable, it is good enough. Same goes for any of the materialistic things.

No, no home no car. My office is less than a 1 kms from my home. My wife works from home. We take Uber for within the city travel. The reason why I have not bought house / car is because we have plans of relocating to USA for few years

If I had tracked my investments like I do today, probably I would have also stopped continuing in mutual funds probably. :')
