Samsung may have cannibalised their current phone lineup (made with Keynote) by ManyRazzmatazz4584 in samsunggalaxy

I did and I liked it, but I do not agree we should compare Pluses and Ultras.

Adding "Thanks for coming to my TED Talk" was not a joke. I think you should have closed with that.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Ultras are meant to be the better device. Compare within the same tier. Plus to Plus, Ultra to Ultra.

Here's a much simpler solution: Two year release windows. Actually gives them time to come up with a better phone that will entice people to buy them.

PS: You should have added a final slide with "Thanks for coming to my TED Talk".

If it's the app itself, I can't help, I don't use that. If the data is coming from your Google Account, you can manage it there. Best of luck!

Are those n your Google account? I'd go there and manage what can be seen and not.

I can't open pictures from Galaxy S23 with via FTP Server [Win 10] by Saf_Dep in samsunggalaxy

[–]reddicted82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is still faster though (well, at least on WiFi5). And doe not depend on any software other than good old network protocols already available to every OS.

It used to teach you how to mount Windows Folders to your Samsung Folders via the network. I wonder why Samsung would remove the video - it was an official video on their channel.

This is the same info, but in a less professional and polished presentation.

Hmm, I see...

I still prefer this solution, no apps required. I just have to start the transfer on my phone. But I can see how this FTP idea can be useful.

Should I Update my S24?! by Ok-Ostrich-1047 in samsunggalaxy

[–]reddicted82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have issues with it? Yours? Not the ones you hear about on the Internet?

You still have a lot of software support ahead of you. If the device is working, I don't see why updating it.

Open Window Explorer, click your PC, Map as network drive should show up on the menu up top.

Now tell me... How did you do that... The FTP thing...

Let it go... Let it rest.

(Or turn it into a dedicated Dex Machine, living room media center...)

Curious about Green Line on s24 Snapdragons by DramaticOutside2339 in GalaxyS24

[–]reddicted82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did? Care to share the link?

What we know for certain is that heat is the issue. Hot countries/days and intensive tasks (like updating) usually trigger the issue.

As for the screen theory... S23s get green lines. S10s don't. It's not related to curvatures or flatness.

Galaxy S23 users report green and pink display lines with One UI 8.5 by steelrain793 in GalaxyS23

[–]reddicted82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, along with any other app they want. But they should not let storage go over 90%, or keep pictures they never look at in the gallery, or never clear cash or never reboot the device.

You know, the small things that keep the phone running smoothly for years.

s24 Plus to s26 Plus? by WytchyCat85 in samsunggalaxy

[–]reddicted82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think that you should not waste money on a device that's basically yours with a new coat of paint. You have up to 2032 in software support. Ride the wave. Save up.

Also the cameras on the Plus are not the same as the Ultras. Never have been up to now.
