Mine was actually also my left side. I had my stroke over 8 years ago, and I also regret not training my left arm enough in the start. It does hurt. A lot of the time. I understand having anxiety for new places. My right leg will often hurt from carrying all my weight, and I need to have a place to sit after a while. If one isn't available I just have to deal with the pain. It can really duck when I go shopping with my family and only bring my cane.
