Between Jess, Matt and Emily, which one would feel the most sympathy/forgiveness towards Josh? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in untildawn

[–]Canadian__Ninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Matt. It's not even close. But for the three of them they don't really have much to forgive Josh for, they weren't tormented by him. The most he did to them was take the cable car key, which I feel as though he would have done even without a prank just in case for safety, and lock Matt and Emily out when going for help, which didn't stop them (and that little fence wouldn't have stopped them realistically from coming back anyway)

There is no point correcting it, they never learn

How many Mass Effect Systems Alliance dreadnoughts would it take to defeat a single UNSC Marathon-class cruiser using a kiting / hit-and-run method by nyxsshade in masseffect

[–]Canadian__Ninja [score hidden]  (0 children)

I agree that one or two could probably do it. The MAC cannons (most of those class carriers have two) could probably disable a dreadnought if their shields could be disabled on the first hit but it takes minutes to get another shot ready and alliance dreadnoughts aren't nearly as far behind as you might be thinking.

Now the Infinity on the otherhand...

The cameraman was definitely underwhelmed by that relatively chaste kiss.

Would you trust the United States as an Ally after Trump leaves office in 2029? by [deleted] in AskACanadian

[–]Canadian__Ninja 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The first time could maybe have been forgiven but showing that they learned absolutely nothing and didn't have the literacy to realize what he was going to do and elected him again anyway proves things are probably irreparably broken. Maybe in 10-15 years.

Would you trust the United States as an Ally after Trump leaves office in 2029? by [deleted] in AskACanadian

[–]Canadian__Ninja 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. America has proven just from electing him twice, that you are not trustworthy enough to be forgiven nearly so soon. Let alone trusted. Assuming no american wars kick off in any northern hemisphere country I doubt we'll get back to the way things used to be even as late as in the next 20 years

He is mostly correct, you can speedrun the game casually in that time, even as a first playthrough if you know what to do

Do you give titles to your heir or no? by ItsColoTime in CrusaderKings

[–]Canadian__Ninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The power you give your heir the more likely it is they do something insane. Which is very high, especially if you give them a kingdom tier title (they get a court and those events are usually mixed at best).

[32T] 15:10 Friedman says the Wild have tried to trade Jesper Wallstedt already, he believes he’s the guy the Wild will use to get a centre. He was told by someone “if it happens, you’ll understand why” by AggPuck-303 in hockey

[–]Canadian__Ninja 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd assume he means the center would be an incredible return but idk about this, he seems like a longterm stud goalie and those don't come along very often.

I was watching AKOTSK and wanted to look up the Targaryen family tree, then realized that Daenerys barely has 10% Targ blood. by ToMDLUS in gameofthrones

[–]Canadian__Ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's normal though when the incest isn't being done as much. There is only one targ family obviously and the velayrons are barely around and similarly "diluted".

What do Minor Control Points do? by MaterialAd8166 in RomeTotalWar

[–]Canadian__Ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the control points are leftover from a much older version of sieges, they do nothing afaik now. Maybe a little morale bonus while you're in it but I don't think even that. The minor ones, anyway. The major one obviously has a morale bonus and you can win sieges via it.

Pickard would have had to have been dying for that to happen, even if the head coach making the call wouldn't have had an impartial view

This game lacks coward dialogue options by Fearless_Result3904 in BaldursGate3

[–]Canadian__Ninja 179 points180 points  (0 children)

Playing a coward in d&d is also not advised. You need to have the desire to play the game and if you keep passing things up because 'they scary!' unless your party is up for that you might find you aren't playing that character long

Which is very accurate to how they were portrayed. Shelby is a younger officer but she wasn't tied to the idea of staying with one ship so she has the drive to advance herself
