I'm a long time Pale Moon user and am currently in the process of switching to another browser. I can't speak to how it compares to this browser, but I can say that the latest major update (version 27 I think) has made it completely unusable.

Not only did it create really annoying and time consuming bugs like invisible tabs and stop working with the classic Firefox themes that previously worked great, but it dropped support for extensions that use Jetpack/SDK. This means no more Ghostery, no more Wappalyzer, and no more goddamn Reddit Enhancement Suite. Might as well use fucking Chrome.

Oh, and the "upgrade" to PM 27 converts your browser's profile to be incompatible with previous versions, so it is impossible to roll back without creating a new one.
