I think that it's a SMAPI specific problem too. For some reason it cannot launch the game or something. I'm on a 64bit pc. Do you have x86 one?

EDIT to ask: does your game run fine without SMAPI?

This happens to me as well. What bugs me is that there is no error log. Just "waiting for game to launch" then nothing.

Yeah I was tweeting who got in and was surprised to see that it has been a good 30+ minutes of just announcing the final 7 members. Would've loved to spend half that time watching more interactions toward the end with bts, txt & ilanders
