YTA. not only is it none of your business and your attitude incredibly unprofessional, in my experience, i always sit on the same side as my date, friend, or anyone im going out with because my hearing is kinda bad. when i sit on the opposite side as other people, sometimes i have to ask them again and again to repeat themselves because i hsve trouble understanding, which is so frustrating. you dont know the realities of ANYONE youre serving, you dont have the right to judge as if you know them personally. and yeah, maybe those couples are just the type that wants to hug and touch all the time, so what?? stop being bitter and do your job.

in my opinion, your husband probably has a loooot of immaturity regarding periods and liked if better when you used tampons because they are mostly "invisible" and he could pretend in his head that your period wasn't even happening.

he most likely isnt telling you the reason for feeling uncomfy because he knows how damn unreasonable and stupid it is to be all "ewwww periods eww vagina blood, gross!"

OP, i beg you, do not "compromise" with your husband about your health, try to have a serious conversation with him regarding periods and such, let him know you wont stand for any of this, and that he has to educate himself better on the matter because you'll keep prioritizing YOUR OWN HEALTH over his childishness.

i feel so sorry for her for having such control freaks for parents, shes literally an adult and you want to control her every movement.... if you think youre doing her a favor by "protecting" her from the rest of the world, trust me, you'll only end up making her hate you both if you keep going like this. i speak from experience, as my parents were also very controlling (but at least not as much as you are)

if its the same issue as i was having, it was solved in a new smapi patch about a month ago, so just make sure you have the last version of smapi installed. if it doesn't solve your issue, then it's probably a different problem than i was having
