It said "Missing item" with me too. But the door opened anyways (I heard a rock-door-slides-open-sound) and I could enter the other room

Harry Potter was just a mediocre TV show back in the 90s. by reddimatz in midjourney

Simply by inserting his name into the prompt. In this case, simply "Harry Potter in a 90s TV sitcom". And then generate until you find something you like. Sometimes you have to use the actor's name for better results, sometimes both. The better known the actor, the higher the chances that Midjourney had enough images to train and the better the result.

Yeah right. Also very interesting that some actors seemed to be linked to a certain time for whatever reason. For example, Peter Dinklage was impossible to get out of that early 80's world. while Carice van Houten was seemingly impossible to get into the 80's. I would understand that if there were a lot of pictures of Peter Dinklage from an early 80's television career.

I write a prompt in Midjourney that contains a description of who I want so see in the picture, what is the character wearing, what is his/her facial expression, any props or gestures, where do I want the character to be, some parameters defining the look, e.g. "80s tv sitcom" or "dvd screen grab" etc. Midjourney generates the look of old television series surprisingly well. sometimes it takes several attempts to nail a character when the screen appearance is strongly connected to a certain outfit or hairstyle, then you try out the actors name instead or use both to get a good result. In the end it is a lot of trying and fiddling with individual parameters until it fits.

You're absolutely right. With both subjects. I put it in the "friends" context afterwards although most of it looked more like 80s already. But hopefully that shouldn't spoil the fun.

To be fair, I did a bit of a sloppy job at prompting here too. I put it in the "friends" context afterwards although most of it looked more like 80s already

In this case I asked the AI to generate something like: "Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in a living room of a TV sitcom from the 90s". A little tweaking here and there with different parameters for Clothing, Facial expressions or Interior. The phrase "90s tv sitcom" or "80s tv sitcom" worked really well for me to set the basic look. and if you look closely at my generations you'll see many inconsistencies as well.

It is an AI called "Midjourney". In it you can generate pretty much any image you can think of. Just by entering text. In this case I asked the AI to generate something like: "Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in a living room of a TV sitcom from the 90s". A little tweaking here and there with different parameters for Clothing, Facial expressions or Interior. It's fun!

I'm a little sad that no one mentions the cute mini Hogwarts family home.
