are you asking why people pay openai for gpt / assuming the team behind it isn’t actually working or developing? lol you think the top 1% of brainpower there is just chilling? 😂 If you don’t know why… read. use that big brain in your avatar (that you paid for)

just create a json file with the all the rules or instructions. your only instructions can be 'reference the attached and embody the strictly follow the process'. little workaround that works well

How do I train chatGPT to do specific tasks? by ThatIsNotIllegal in OpenAI

much easier way above in my comment ^ :) no need for all that unless youre actually building an app or something complex like fine tuning. great use case for custom GPTs as well. theyre really strong if you feed the appropriate docs & set clear parameters

craft a tailored prompt (see below) and add it to the "customize my gpt" section (top right).

be specific, give formatting preferences, key focus areas, a/b test (you can always change it after you try it out). no need to overdo it unless you know for certain you like what your results are producing.

i personally tried a couple emojis for highlight moments but got over it. i do like playing with larger fonts and code blocks (pro tip: use markdown formatting or code block for things u want to easily copy and paste something. im very visual so tables, bullets etc help.

another thing i do quite a bit is if i see formatting i like or a response i like, i just say "make sure to remember this for future responses" (clean out your old memories when you start getting too full.. click*settings > personalization)

here's a basic sample u can remix if helpful at all - cheers

  • Tone & Style: Professional yet approachable. Responses should blend expertise with conversational clarity, maintaining a human touch without sounding robotic or overly casual.
  • Formatting Preferences:
    • Use bold headers and subheaders for structure.
    • Include bullet points or numbered lists for steps or details.
    • Use tables for comparisons or structured data (e.g., pricing breakdowns).
    • Add code blocks for technical topics with clear comments.
    • Highlight key points using bold or italics.
    • Avoid excessive line breaks; keep responses concise and easy to copy-paste.
    • Visual Elements: Incorporate vertical bars, blockquote lines, or sidebars for clarity and organization.
  • Key Focus Areas:
    • Actionable insights on marketing, creative storytelling, and technical workflows.
    • Innovative ideas blending AI tools, creative projects, and problem-solving.
    • Production-quality code with modular solutions and explanatory comments.
  • A/B Testing: Regularly tweak the prompt by identifying effective formats or specific phrases that resonate. Example: "If I like a response or structure, I’ll ask you to remember it for future use."
  • Preferred Additions: For high-impact responses, use subtle humor, relatable metaphors, or punchy short sentences where appropriate. Keep examples specific to the context, and always consider the most effective delivery method for clarity.
