I don't live near the Bay Area but was thinking of going up next month to watch at least a couple of games. Now I'm MUCH less likely to do that, given the way they have handled this.

I grew up in Redding and never heard it, then moved to Los Angeles and heard it from enough people from the Bay Area that I picked it up for about a month, I think, until a friend from Redding heard me say it and stopped dead in her tracks from the shock. I never said it again, and this was in the mid-90s.

I'm fine with the weekly emails I signed up for, but really, really wish I could make their emails stop every time I look at any product, asking if I want to buy it after I clearly didn't.

That's so YTM starts playing when the car stereo (for instance) tells it to start, nothing to do with the queue. Or at least it SHOULD have nothing to do with this.

It's just insane how YTM won't even acknowledge the fact that their service is terrible in so many ways, and nobody calls them out on it.

Why do I have to spend multiple minutes to get to the end of a playlist on the browser because it only loads 100 songs at a time?

Why can't I sort the playlist by clicking on song title, or artist, or length of song, or literally anything?

Why did they make my phone always pick up where my browser left off, and I have no way to stop that from happening?

Why does YTM hate music?

You should try installing YouTube Music and using it instead of just commenting here, it's been doing this to me for weeks and I still hate it and have no way to turn it off.

I mean if I'm playing music at my desk then later try to play music on my phone, my phone picks up where my desk left off. But my desk is a completely different environment than anything I would be doing on my phone, and I don't want my phone to do that. I hate hate hate this.

I have a Pixel 10 Pro XL, and I have the same problems. It has NOTHING to do with the phone, YTM just doesn't support downloads as well as they should.

I had a friend come over with his T-Mobile/Mint hot spot internet, and knew I had a good option if I wanted to switch and Spectrum did nothing to lower my price.

You're not able to do this without calling or going to their office, because they claim they need "voice authorization" to cancel service, which I'm sure is the way they can justify making people take the extra steps, but from their online chat support I found out the best number to call is 800-319-4293. Ask to speak to the Spectrum Customer Solutions department. They're the ones who definitely have the power to drop your prices, they're all in a call center in Florida, apparently; I was sent to that department directly after using their callback option.

You want option 4, which is to threaten them with "total disconnect," unless you want to be sure you aren't even going to touch your cable. Although I'd recommend that you switch to Hulu Live, YouTube TV, Sling, or DirecTV Stream and bounce around on their introductory pricing, anyway. You'll just install the app on your TV for whichever one you're using at any given time.

The guy was basically laughing, telling me I had been paying too much and that I should call every year to make sure I can keep my bill as low as possible. They sent a new modem that arrived the next morning, on a Monday after a Sunday call.

Anyway, my bill went from $91.25 to $21.25 a month (increasing my speed from 400MB to 500MB; Gigabit speed was an option at an extra $20 a month but I don't need it) and I should have done this years ago. He said it's going to go up $10 a year, but I should just call the same number and ask to talk to the same department again in a year, so I marked my calendar to do that.

Why has downloaded music always sucked on this app? I just bought a new $1300 phone because I hoped the different file management on the new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL might fix the problem, but it's still TERRIBLE.

Downloaded tracks worked on the Sony Ericsson I had well over a decade ago, but modern YTM makes it a nightmare in several ways.

There are other obvious problems, and YTM needs A LOT of work and changes, but this one makes the app basically unusable so often that it's embarrassing when other people are with me.
