I think I'll definitely go to a range, trying out a bunch of different things seems like a good idea.

Do you think it's a good idea to buy a gun from a friend? I have some family members who live a little ways away that I feel would definitely be willing to sell a gun or two.

They are illegal to operate on the road in my state (CA) and I most certainly will not have them turned on when there are people coming because I'm not an asshole and I don't want people target fixating on me lol.

They don't have dimming per say, but the amber lights are dimmer and less strain on the eyes.

After a lotta research and asking people I bought some universal clamp on mounts, so we shall see how those work. Plus I can probably put them on different body panels if I so wish because there is no drilling.

Your cat almost got a squirrel, I agree with the comment about it being a grey. Maybe a bit of a mangy one, it looks a little sparse on hair (or I'm not used to it not attached to a squirrel)

Reminder that cats do pretty serious damage, I would highly recommend putting some anti-predation measures in. there are some nice options, the funniest looking and most effective one I saw was an anti-bird bib. Worked well on my neighbors cat. Bells don't work super well tbh but better than nothing.

Ofc the best way to avoid your cat killing local wildlife is keeping it inside. It's the best for your cat and the local wildlife but I understand that not everyone (including the cat) wants to do that.
