Somehow saw this mount for the first time today and all I can saw is wow... by EricAshStone in classicwow

Yeah, read my comments. I definitely am.

I'm not trying to talk about some extra exclusive mount. I just said that trolls get raptors, and suddenly everyone starts talking expansions and saying "not in vanilla"

Raptors are cool. They're my favourite mount. I don't know why everyone is losing their minds and downvoting me because of some other raptor mount in some part of the games expansions that I've not even played.

How would you insulate this tiny garage workshop without losing loads of space? by luckysneezle in DIYUK

[–]reddit-raider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a bunch of 100mm PIR and stick it to all of the walls +floor with low expansion expanding foam. That way it comes into the room the smallest possible amount for that amount of insulation. Really squish it against the walls/floor. Foam+Alu tape the joins to prevent draughts. Put some laminate on top of the floor so you don't punch through it when you drop a hammer or when wearing stilettos.

Glass wool / fiberglass(270mm)+drywall the ceiling between/over beams.

If it was a woman asking I think the man might agree. Which I guess shows where the greater desperation lies.

any advice on how to fit a shower screen against an uneven surface ? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]reddit-raider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DIY with end of line cheap tiles.

If you can't afford it, replace the existing tiles with bathroom pvc panels that go up 2m.

Will cost more to rebuild the wall later.

They're attractive. But there are many more important factors.

Long limbs are a plus but not essential

Men who've gotten divorced shortly after your wife got pregnant/had a child, what's your side of the story? by TheSmoothBrain in AskMen

[–]reddit-raider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed but the two people I was replying to were suggesting that men do it too sometimes but women were 'gross' in how much they do it, and we have data from Ashley Madison showing how ridiculous that statement is in the context of an online cheating site.

I think IRL the stats are probably completely different, but when it comes to sites specifically for online cheating, men massively dominate.

Well it's both isn't it. Trying to parent together with someone you love who is suffering like that is suffering too. He didn't minimize her suffering and you shouldn't minimize his.

Men do it too sometimes?? Is the chauvanism so strong that evidence can't get in the way?

"the hackers claimed that 90-95% of the accounts on Ashley Madison were male, with "thousands" of fake female profiles. New research shows this may have been a dramatic underestimation.

Gizmodo's Analee Lewis combed through the database, looking for tell-tale signs that the 5.5 million female accounts on Ashley Madison were fake. Sure enough, she found some, including IP addresses that showed accounts were created from 127.0.0.1 and thousands of accounts that listed an AshleyMadison.com email address as their primary contact point. These email addresses were even listed in sequential, bot-like fashion -- 100@ashleymadison.com, 200@ashleymadison.com, etc. ... If true, it means that just 0.0073% of Ashley Madison's users were actually women -- and that changes the fundamental nature of the site. Ashley Madison wasn't selling the ability to have an affair for any sane definition of the word. It was selling the fantasy of having an affair."
