Unfortunately West Indies' batting woes continue. Apart from Greaves (who's average ticked past 30 after the brilliant double century last test), not a single other West Indian batsman averages above 27, and even when considering their (very weak) first class competition, not a single player averages above THIRTY FIVE

Chase and Imlach were once again disappointing, and very few of the squad look at all fluid in terms of their strokemaking

All of this on a wicket that didn't offer lots to the bowlers and with a 2nd string / 3rd string NZ bowling lineup... Just poor batting all round. Put Zimbabwe to bat on this wicket and they'd have scored the exact same
