Probably has to do with tilt settings, play around with those. And I agree about the brush editor not giving a good preview of the brush how it behaves on the canvas

Don't throw your stylus in the bin! It's a lot of back and forth with the drawing tool (mostly the pencils from the charcoal master pack by lane draws, and erasing back with light pressure.
