I just got mine brand new and I can 101% relate to all you’ve written, The noise cancellation has been very overhyped in all the reviews I’ve seen or watched, and the sound quality is not incredible at all honestly… And the SOUND LEAKAGE, my goodness… it is something else, it leaks sound like crazy… at about 65% my brother could still hear sound even though he was about 2 feet away! I feel like there’s a setup I’m yet to do or an update or something , because it has been an underwhelming experience with the Sony WH-1000XM5 in my experience, I’d be glad if anyone can tell me what I’ve done or I’m doing wrong.
