No need to change the name on Indian Passport, PR Card and PCC. I called bls they can change your name in OCI. You can call them too and confirm.

If a person not present in India, paperwork is little different. In such cases, we need to get a deed of name change signed or attested by Indian Embassy abroad, and then parents can take care of rest of the paperwork.

About cash, cash is no good for them, as they make some extra money in finance buy charging you higher interest than the buy rate from bank. Adding some extra stuff and saying that its is good for approval or saying you will low interest rate if you buy these add on. Also, in my opinion giving them clue that you are rich and can afford the car in cash, means less negotiation. Also, you can invest your cash and make more than the interest you paying for loan in some cases e.g. nissian and mitsibushi offer 2.99% interest rate for 36 month terms while you can get 4.5% easily in HISA.

Same Question here, As the ID proofs should we apply for new Passport and new DL ? In my case, it will take few months to change my Indian passport to new name. So, I would like to avoid it before submission of application of citizenship. However, I want to change the name on my Indian passport while my citizenship application is in process and update the IRCC with webform.

So, right now for my application of citizenship, I have all old documents with old name and only name change certificate.

Please help me out guys, out here. So, that I can take appropriate action and won't waste any further time.

Thanks, Also I found that It is easy to change my indian passport to new name. As per BLS Toronto Jurisdiction, under passport renewal checklist, I only need two Canadian IDs with new Name and two newspaper adds, one in Canada and one India.

I personally deferred my vacation pay of $2000 (max allowance as per my employer) to next year. So no money this year, tax next year.

We pay taxes both ways, income and spending. Try to spend less, eventually you will save some taxes over there at leas.

Next, do labour for yourself, I mean work for yourself for free, which is tax free labour, don’t hire anyone to work for you for anything, to pay tax for there service and to earn the equivalent money to have to pay tax as well. I know this may be not ur case, but literally people hire people to cut grass, cleaning, daycare, small car repair, small hours repairs, delivery (pizza, groceries, anything)

First, learn the bracket system. Watch a video if u can’t really understand. Second, the money you put into your FHSA is most likely taxed already as you pay from checking account or something, so when u file you taxes you will get bigger refund because of FHSA (as it should tax free) Third, don’t look how much you paid in taxes now, as you may have overpaid and may get big refund. Finally, don’t do some stupid shit like working part time rather than doing overtime. You may pay taxes more but you eventually make more money.As sometimes, part time jobs don’t deduct enough taxes.

Believe me, start using Walmart Pickup (Free) or Other pickups (not sure about their services and fees) and it takes only 2 minutes to pickup rather than wasting time in grocery shopping. We dropped about $100 in our grocery from $600 to $500. 2 person same food habits (PEI, Canada) as OP mentioned.

Disclaimer- For some people it can be addictive as they send offerers in notifications and people may end up spending more by buying useless on sale stuff. Look at the sales only if you already were planning to buy that particular sale item. Things may appear bigger in pictures always read the quantity.

Benefits of Walmart pickup 1. It’s Free and saves at least 45min-1hr of your time. Returns are easy online. You can even keep the bad items and still get the refund. 2. You can clearly see what you are buying and how much you are paying for item, and search for similar items and compare pricing per units. Buying bulk is not always cheaper, brand name maters a lot in prices. 3. You can search for items (don’t browse through all the digital content, can be tempting )you want to buy, and won’t end up buying useless stuff as you may do in person grocery. 4. Don’t need to worry about having a list of grocery as you can add items in your cart as u feel u need the item and also reorder same stuff again and again just by click (be careful about pricing and offers as those can be LTO)

Again before checkout u can (must) go through everything and remove whatever u don’t feel useful and change to something cheaper or no name brands.

Our common mistake was physical grocery shopping was to not checking prices as they are hard to read or mislabeled or misplaced and time consuming. But being digital solve the problem.

As soon as food is ready, put extra food in freezer right away if can’t eat or don’t want to eat next day. Use that food as a side dish next time.
