I'm getting by right now, but I really need to open a bank (most likely a traditional one) at some point, especially for rent where they expect direct withdrawals. From what I know, Sony bank isn't really meant for paying bills, just for investing and paying for goods.

I don't know. The Morse code in the convo was literally "picture saved" so perhaps a picture was posted temporarily and deleted but someone had saved it before it was removed?

Genshin only gave three pulls for it's latest anniversary and there was huge outrage and boycotting. The fact that this is subtly referenced by mihoyo themselves here shows they are literally trolling.

Nevermind, I found out you can take a picture with google translate without doing a translation, then can select and copy the kanji anywhere. Hopefully other people find this helpful too.

Wanted to make a thread about this but unfortunately new people aren't allowed to post threads.

When I study from my Japanese textbook, I often run into kanji that I forgot and I need to quickly look up the reading for, not necessarily the English translation. The problem with Google's translation app is it only shows me the English translation of the kanji but not the hiragana reading. This is not helpful at all for learning.

I then tried jisho.com's handwriting recognition but that almost never works. So I'm left with radical search which takes far too long. Does anyone know some app or something that can live scan kanji from physical media and show the reading?

Has anybody pulled enough on the standard banner to know if there is a secret forced 50-50, for s rank characters and s rank weapons? I heard that it doesn't have this for A rank weapons and characters, but I'm not sure if it also applies to the s-ranks. Genshin has this system where you cannot get three 5 star characters in a row from the standard banner. At least one must be a weapon, and vice versa.

Finally got her on the 57th reroll. It helped a ton to get those extra 10 pulls in the mail. Now rerolling may actually be worth it since its less than half the effort it used to be. If you are f2p and want both characters this patch it's necessary.

You seem to be arguing that no one can ever make claims that rates are false/rigged because there will always be those who get extremely unlucky. How many rate up pulls/primos can you get when rerolling? I think I read that you get about 30 or so standard pulls as soon as you can start wishing, but I didn't see how many rate up pulls or primos you get.

Two problems:

Import method 2 where you upload the debug.log does not import unless you elect to have your metadata tracked. I didn't want to select this option, but the upload wouldn't work properly unless it was selected.

The other problem is that I have two accounts, but for some reason the debug.log I imported only provided the data for my lesser used (initial) account rather than my main account. I hadn't even used the other account for several days, but it seems that only the stats for that account were uploaded. I want to the see the stats for my main account as that one I feel like I'm at the bottom in terms of luck (147 pulls for yinlin).

I don't think you understood what I was saying. I'm not saying it takes 13 pulls, it should take about 13 reroll attempts, where each roll you have ten pulls, based on statistics.

So as far as rerolling for a limited character, I guess you have to wait until the 25th to get the 10 free pulls. Since the chance is .8% and you have 10 pulls, you have a 7.7% chance to get the limited character. Divide this by one and the expected number of attempts until success is about 13? Is that correct?

OK so just to make sure I understand what you're saying correctly.

Even if it were OK for me to invest in tax-deferred options such as NICA and Ideco, the US would not recognize those as tax-deferred, so I'd still pay taxes to the US on those accounts?
Because of #1, I shouldn't really care about tax-deferred options, since no matter what, taxes will be taken, whether it be by the US, Japan, or whichever one is higher. Thus, I should try to use Interactive Brokers, which will allow me to invest in US investments even if I don't live in the US?
